This really should be in a more prominent place - I would even say the Main Board. At least equals the feat of Davie Balfour going from Lands End to John O'Groats. Steve had to do it Down Under and suffer the company of Mr Gablonski through it all !!

QUESTIONS / OBSERVATIONS TO THE BOARD
IMMORTAL HOWDEN ENDER replied to IMMORTAL HOWDEN ENDER's topic in Caley Thistle
Liaison with supporters: We recognise the importance of effective liaison with our supporters and this will be the focus of increased attention in the months ahead. Each SPFL club is required to have a Supporters’ Liaison Officer and at ICT this, initially, will be shared by our senior staff, with Stadium Manager, Andy Johnstone, taking a co-ordinating role. We will ensure that communications from supporters and feedback are dealt with by the correct department and that the necessary actions are delivered. A Supporters’ Liaison Officer email is now active - [email protected] If posters are sending SLO e-mails - It would be interesting to know if they got a response and repost their question and the response so that everybody gets to know. -
As Bill Shankly once said - "Offences win games - Defences win Championships." As I have alluded to before we look like a team better suited to attacking on the break and away from home. Maintaining a solid defence is essential and Carl & Co. will undoubtedly be prioritizing that. We have played 5 out of the 8 games at home. Away from home we have amassed 7 from 9, including the difficult trip to the Dark Side, three clean sheets and 4 goals. I expect to get at least 4 out of the next 6 points. Then the table may look a lot different as other teams are beating each other. Plus it is Tinkerville versus Ayr up next. Amongst the teams that we have played at home are Ayr and Queens who are not shoo-ins. Plus the opening game against Alloa was always a difficult starter. It does also however suggest that Robbo has to change the style at home. A few have advocated playing wider with more pace which seems like the answer. Lets see.

QUESTIONS / OBSERVATIONS TO THE BOARD
IMMORTAL HOWDEN ENDER replied to IMMORTAL HOWDEN ENDER's topic in Caley Thistle
I suspect that you are another Bozo who has not read though the threads. I play the joker card in response to any comments aimed at my good self. Sarcasm = Sarcasm. For your limited insight here is the bottom line - "Oh and I should add that I did not start all this off in order to get the Club responding on CTO. I started this off to get the club demonstrating the available channels of communication and responding to individual comments and concerns. The statement recorded does tend to define the lines of communication. If it does not come up with the goods then it is open to complaint by a lot more than the Angry Bird Brigade. IF ?" Well that is how I would have usually responded to threads like these. Unfortunately I do honestly feel that this impasse is affecting the club and may well create further problems in the future if not remedied. I have had enuff conversations with Red Card and RIG to recognize that the communication issue has been lanquishing for some time. I still think that the Board had more important business to deal with first but they do appear to be making more of an effort now. You may also be surprised that it pissses me off that there have been more posts about the politics than the fare on the pitch. There was absolutely nothing about the QOS match until just before the feckin kick-off. And I am sure that you will agree that the club is making comments about looking at renewed communication channels. I evidently realise that this is not as straightforward as that and I would suggest that elements of BOTH sides have to bury hatchets and make concessions. Whether that will happen or not who knows - but I am also sure that all posters will agree that this is in the best interests of the club. I almost agree 100% with that post. Not sure that CaleyD should be picked out. He has maintained a respectful silence during all of this (must be feckin killing him!!). But it takes two sides to build a bridge and both sides are at fault. What initially riled me was that my perception is that some of the so called individuals who are going to help build the bridge appear to be the main detractors of the Board on this forum. I would rather read through all the recent threads than spend time watching Scotland !!! -

Well I got an immediate reply from Andy Johnstone. Very polite, very well worded, appearance of being an invite to sit down and talk things through. I can see where he is coming from. I aint going to add any more but I have forwarded it on to Scotty. If we are going to get anywhere we have to leave it solely to Scotty. -
Undoubtedly there will be a split decision on this. The Board were at fault for the wage structure applied but some players did not play to their potential (OFW was one) and that led to relegation. Some may feel that OFW was right to see out an agreed contract. It is legally binding and you could understand him making a stand out of frustration and resentment. Some will see him as adding to the club's financial plight and choosing a jolly in the States, forsaking his potential international career. Other clubs may have been put off by his wage demands or perhaps he simply was not good enuff. If he was he would have been snapped up by a bigger club than us. Hopefully he was able to sell off a few of his paintings. Might see him on the pavements of Sneck selling his wares. Warren and Raven were let down far more IMHO but had the decency to move on. That gains Respect. ?

I can read between the lines (although a double voddie chat would be helpful) BUT I am at a loss to see how the Supporters Trust and the Club can communicate at all if there is a significant stance by the Club with the individual who chairs the Supporters Trust. Perhaps more than one member of the Supporters Trust ? -

I can now fully appreciate your recent sensitivity and frustration. Am I being naieve BUT there are now different stated lines of communication. Try them all - I will too - and every other poster on here should do as well - ALL asking the same question - Does the club have an issue with communicating with the CaleyThistle Online forum ? As a forum member and a follower of the club I feel that communication is essential. We may be losing valuable supporters without this communication. How can any rift be remedied / resolved ? And then the same question is posed at the Q&A Forum. -

Perhaps he should have written a book ?? Exactly. Well I thought that it was better than it has been - it wasn't pointless in that case. Lets hope that the new directions on how to make comments and receive responses begin to show an improvement as well. -

SP - Graham Rae was born in Inverness but he went to Canada as a young boy and when he returned he dressed like an Eskimo and spoke broad Canadian. My reference was towards him and I have no doubt that he will have a response of similar ilk to me. At least he has come out with a detailed AND personal response and I feel that my mission to silence some of the vultures Angry Birds has been successful. -
