  1. I prefer Chalmers in the holding role and might even consider Doran in the playmaker role, allowing Polly to continue to rove free. Trafford is solid but not spectacular and certainly not a captain
  2. Watch out for vultures ?
  3. But were they all at the 1-O game at Dumfermline ? Are they Ardent ? Jhesus have the Board made ANOTHER good decision ??
  4. Ardent means very enthusiastic and passionate - perhaps there are more than a few ?!
  5. LOL = Who remembers "The MOB" ?
  6. The brown, brown grass of home ??
  7. Take it that we started at Fort Gorge with: MacKay Rooney B. MacKay Johnstone Tremarco Nelson Polly Chalmers Doran Oakley D McKay That is not a bad 22 ?
  8. Apparently Mackay's last goal was only awarded after a VAR check.
  9. Nelson is a wide right midfielder / "winger" - Was out for almost 18 months before returning to action in late April. Only 19 so worth having a look.
  10. But where are the responses ?
  11. Interseting - 4-4-3 ln one game and 4-4-2 in tother. What was the line up at Gorkie Park ?
  12. Has there been any feedback ?
  13. Apparently we won 5-0 at Port gorge as well.
  14. Daniel McKay with a hat trick, Polly and Oakley-Doakley at Kinguisie. Zak Dingle double, Trafford, Morrison and Austin at Kinnock Park.
  15. 5-0 at Strathspray as well
  16. Take it that we started: Ridgers Morrison Donaldson Mccart Calder Walsh Trafford Chalmers Elbouzhedi White Austin
  17. Note we won 5-0 after leading 2-0 at half time - Any other info ?
  18. Stage by stage - start with getting well away from the bottom 2 - next goal has to be the play-offs - and then winning the league if it still within our grasp as the last round of matches begin. Cups will be luck of the draws.
  19. It was a statement of my personal opinion. I never named names. But it appears that I am far from being the sole discerner. I have criticised the board as their handling of social media and fan engagement has been dire. As I alluded to they had more pressing tasks to attend to first and hopefully now that will commence. My wish was and is that CJT will provide a strong voice and this will not be a turkey shoot as it has been for some time. My concern is that divisions and personal suspicions may have developed on BOTH sides and there simply has to be more give and take. Nothing wrong with having a pop with a rationale but adding a more positive observation in there as well.
  20. I have had a premonition of the next meeting
  21. Now that was quick. The Yeovil Board have introduced Gary in his new role.
  22. As far as I am concerned I have both praised and criticised the Board. My perception is that it is mainly the CJT names that are making most of the negative criticism and encouraging some others to criticise with no clear rationale or understanding of business. And just look at who has overreacted !! This forum lives on speculation, rumour and personal opinions. Long may it last. I just wish that the vultures would ignore the scraps every now and then and announce that they are not feeding on raw grizzle and advise the flock of seagulls to retreat.
  23. Sure the board have made some PR and communication gaffes BUT their undoubted initial task was to sort out the financial stability whilst trying not to affect the team balance and keep hope for the new season. I actually think that they may well have achieved that. I would have also thought that Robbo would have been off ski if he smelt a rat. I think that we are better prepared pre-season than we ever have been before. I think that we have a squad that can hold it's own in this league. I also think that if the players develop then we will be in the next set of play offs. The board are on a hiding to nothing with the vultures waiting to pounce on mere scraps of mistakes. Now Stage 1 is complete it is now the time to look at the other improvements which need to be made. I was hoping that CJT would be part of bringing that about but it feels like there continues to be an internal political power game continuing. The only way is up but that has to be together.
  24. I can't believe that people actually think that Yeovil have made a good signing with Gary. He is clearly at the end of his career and I suspect getting closer to home and playing in the reserves is going to be his swan song. Most people did not think that he would get a game for us and now some are making him the captain of Yeovil. Good luck Gary and thanks for the great memories.
