I agree with L_G. Even if he goes for free next summer his goals this coming season may be worth more than what Coventry are likely to offer us

We have plenty of cover in midfield even if Black does leave. He's the player we could probably cope with losing the easiest out of the 'BIG' 4!!

Who do you think are the favourites for relegation next season?? There are usually 3 teams who struggle in the league and I'm hoping we aren't one of them. Obviously a lot will depend of what happens in the transfer market over the next few weeks but I'm guessing it'll be between..... Dunfermline Falkirk Motherwell??

Wow!! Thats spooky. I was thinking about Mackie yesterday when folk were talking about us being interested in Noel Hunt. Don't think we saw the best of him when he was on loan a few years back. He could certainly bag a few goals and he has decent pace. Bit injury prone though

SPL survival MUST always be our first priority. You just need to look at Dundee & Livingston - 2 teams who tried to grow beyond there means - look where they have ended up. Decent cup runs would be nice as well as lucrative

I'm really not sure if getting into the Intertoto Cup this year would be a good thing. I can see it having a big impact on pre-season training and as it is we don't have the biggest squad anyway. I still think our priority should be SPL survival with a Top 6 finish and decent cup runs as the goal. You just need to look at Everton and how badly European foortball affected there season and league form

I do indeed. Certainly motivated Mr Hart. County want cash more than anything and I doubt the players we would likely be offering would be of much interest to them. This situation is SO frustrating. I really think Rankin would be a fantastic signing but I can see him going elsewhere now :007:
