New Signings
The Premier League has announced it will grant applications from clubs to complete transactions after the 1700 deadline today if there is email confirmation from the two clubs involved that a deal has been agreed in principle. The club signing the player must also satisfy the board that the prevailing weather conditions have prevented the signing from being completed by the deadline.

Butcher is Boss
Looking at Brentford manager since the 1997 season in all fairness you aint a good club for your manager are you: Eddie May - 5 August 1997 - 5 November 1997 Micky Adams - 5 November 1997 - 1 July 1998 Ron Noades - 1 July 1998 - 20 November 2000 Ray Lewington - 20 November 2000 - 7 May 2001 Steve Coppell - 8 May 2001 - 5 June 2002 Wally Downes - 28 June 2002 - 14 March 2004 Garry Thompson - 14 March 2004 - 18 March 2004 Martin Allen - 18 March 2004 - 30 May 2006 Leroy Rosenior 14 June 2006 - 18 November 2006 Scott Fitzgerald - 18 November 2006 - 9 April 2007 Barry Quin - 9 April 2007 - 7 May 2007 Terry Butcher - 7 May 2007 - 11 December 2007 Andy Scott - 11 December 2007 - Present

Butcher is Boss
I admit Butcher wasnt my first choice but i will get behind him and the team and it seems ok there is some negativity amongst the caley fans but most seem to be from brentford fans (remba every manager has a bad spell) so he has finished with you and if you dont want to wish him luck or something dont post and i doubt that every brentford fan has a bad view of Butcher

Butcher is Boss
I hope that butcher has gave up his sentanta commitments to take on our job as if he is that desperate to get back into football management surely he can give up his sentanta role His Scotland commitments arent too much of a problem as ICT wont be playing when Scotland are playing anyway and you never know with a manager with such a high profile we may be able to get a few decent players in

Who will be the 3 candidates?
So unless i am mistaken it looks very much like our new man is Butcher?
-
Who will be the 3 candidates?
I cant see that if the club wanted Robbo back it would have been as manager I totally agree but i hope he does get it
-
Who will be the 3 candidates?
I cant say Butcher was my first choice but i hope robbo is assistent and if so most fans would be happy
-
Who will be the 3 candidates?
STV reporting that it is looking very likely that Terry Butcher will be manager
-
benjelloun
Would have agreed but the problem is Al Shaab have agreed a deal with the player and with conclude a deal with Hibs before the weekend
-
Who will be the 3 candidates?
I thought that too. Due to Scotland plus punditry. I also thought this and thats why i was surprised to see in the papers today he is favourite and looks like getting it would still prefer robbo and barry
-
Who will be the 3 candidates?
I cant see the the money being at place for two of the three but you never know and surely the assistant would have to be knox or butcher as cant see robbo wanting to be assistant
-
Who will be the 3 candidates?
My preference would be; Knox Robertson Butcher That said, assuming Butcher can devote the lion's share of his time to the club, all are worthwhile candidates. Thats my only worry with Butcher getting the job would he devote must of his time to the club
-
Who will be the 3 candidates?
To be honest it is surprising we are still having this debate as normally by now everyone knows who the manager is and just waiting for it to be confirmed by the club I aint too bothered who gets the up out of (Robbo, Knox or Butcher) but if it was someone who got it i wldnt be surprised

MARK BROWN
