It was revealed tonight that CC's resignation had as much to do with his family suffering from abusive taunts, concerning recent results as anything else.... Surely to god you have to give the guy some credit for trying to put his family first..??

Bollox.... Brewster's a candidate but a deal has NOT been done....

Even if Brewster does get the job (and I still don't think it's a done deal) and we are still at the bottom of the table 6 weeks from now, what on earth would a boycot achieve?

They started in the 3rd Division and worked their way up to the SPL, FFS... No one put them there... Their rise to the top flight of Scottish Football has been nothing short of meteoric.... Somebody must have been doing something right.... :blah01:

It was also mentioned tonight that CC's kids were getting hassle at school, because of the way recent results had gone.... That's when it is clearly time to decide what comes first - Career or family? I didn't say it would necessarily be a problem, L_G But he is going to have to eat a lot of humble pie if he does come back and accept that he might not get all his own way in future....? Remember too - when at Yinited he was the one that persuaded Darren Dods where his future lay....

From what I've heard tonight there is no way Brew will be coming back unless he is prepared to accept Donald as his Number 2.....

That was something that was discussed at tonight's meeting.... A central defender (targetted by CC) is on the verge of being signed before the transfer window closes.... but it would be preferred if the new incumbent to the manager's job, will approve of the signing...

It lasted about an hour..... It was interesting - I certainly didn't get the impression that any deal has already been done.... No startling revelations, but Grassa did say that our three previous managers are all very keen to return to ICT.... Regarding Warnock and others, all that was said was that nobody's been ruled in or out - interviewing will start tomorrow.... I was pleased to hear Savage say that if someone convinces them that they are TMFTJ strenuous efforts will be made to put an appropriate financial package in place.... Are you listening TM4TJ....?

wat was the feckin point in warnock tellin the press that he would willingly talk to any scottish club about a managerial post if hes only gonna knock it back :024: For so many in England a "Scottish Club" means Rangers or Celtic..... :rolleyes02:

I hope that will be the case and we take our time over this appointment.... Supposing Brewster was in charge on Saturday to face Yinited and we loose.... What would that do for morale....?
