He would hve turned it round in my eyes. We were relegated as soon as he was sacked by the board. Lets look at some more succeful clubs tahn ourselves, and before anyone says it I am in no way comparing ourselves to these teams. When was the last time Man United changed manager? or Arsenal? or Liverpool? It goes to show that if you stand by a certain individual the job will get done, and that would have been the case in this situation if it wans't for the (imo) clueless fans. It was a case of the blind leading the blind. When was the last time any of those clubs were 5 points adrift at the bottom of the league ?

Seems most of the posters on here are pre teen children ( check the fun game thread ) , try and ignore them .

Why would he be a fool to leave Burnley ? Would you not rather be playing European football every season in front of 60 000 + fans or fighting relegation in front of 22 000 ?
