  1. My Dad used to watch Caley now and again if he was in town, but more or less stopped following after the merger. I went to my first ICT game when i was 9, 2001 I think. It was Queen of the South at home we won 5-3 - what a first game! Paul Rithcie won man of the match that day and I remember Barry Robson terrorising their defence. After that I'd go to the odd game and when we were promoted got a season ticket and have kept going since then. Edit : Dodgy spelling
  2. Oooh no. Ditto The Rolling People - Verve
  3. You'd need to be in person for you to have an idea what I was on
  4. Please, please, please not let it be any of them.
  5. You got me excited, but I'm worried it's some more pash like TB leaving. Any clues, Wyness?
  6. Maybe the price tag will trick clubs into thinking he's actually that good.
  7. Surely this can't be right those 'muppets' will know the blooming uproar the loss of Butcher would cause, how good is your source?
  8. Pretty much ended the career of one of St Mirren's players, damaged his knee pretty badly I think, with a 'poorly timed tackle ' B)
  9. Is Obi Odhiambo?
  10. You'd imagine the players like Djebi, McBain and Proctor are being offered reduced wages. The two Highland derbies would generate a full house you'd think, however it doesn't make up for the SPL's 3 or so against the OF and our larger attendances against Aberdeen, but will our attendances for your average match in the SFL e.g. Morton generate a much lower attendace against an SPL side such as Motherwell? I wouldn't imagine so because even during our losing sequences we would have an attendance of 3,400 + so maybe that is our hardcore support and we can expect similar attendances in the SFL. And about wages, well if Football Manager is anything to go by all playing staff will have their wages reduced by 25% :P And above all lets hope we can go on a good cup run to help balance the books.
  11. Like most fans I'd prefer it if we didn't play the long ball all the time, however Butcher will be judged on our success more than the way we play so he'll play whatever tactics that he believes will give us the best opportunity for success - that could well be by playing long balls.
  12. And as i've already stated the thing I've asked to be proved cannot be done, because the rediculas way in which Brewster was treated. I believe we would have survived had he survived. As it was the supporters cost us our position in this leaguie and have made it impossible for me to prove what you are asking. When I said CB I actually meant the guy who started this thread not Craig Brewster, I was just wanting his point that he made about us losing 1-0 to falkirk to be proved, I couldn't expect you to understand his reasoning.
  13. Ok CB, firstly I'm not joining in because I 'hate' Brewster, infact I really like him as a player. The thing is you said on the fist page of this thread that under Brewster we would have only lost to Falkirk 1-0, well can you prove this? Pudsey asked someone to prove a point so you should do the same before making ludicrous claims that have no backbone or substance.
  14. Were we relegated?
  15. Can we really afford a recognised goal-scorer right now? If Barrowman had his goal scoring exploits for County in division 2 this season, we'd all be pining for him this summer so maybe he'll be our answer....
  16. I'll put Mackie's name out there, it gets mentioned every year so why break the trend?
  17. I'm reasonably confident Foran could say, he's played under Butcher before so maybe there's a very good relationship between them which could persuade Foran.
  18. The website says he's staying, but it really means thsoe who are under contract - I'd be surprised if Esson stays, let's hope he does the backside kissing he needs to get in Terry's good books.
  19. Surely the reason Mihadjuks isn't being considered is due our smaller wage budget for the new season or maybe he's good a world class replacement..........
  20. The highlights of this season? Seeing Vigurs and Duff in parts shine and look like real good furure prospects. Absolutely gutted Vigurs is being let go, good luck for the future Iain.
  21. He played for Rep Ireland internationally but he's from Paisely so I'd probably call him Scottish.
  22. What Brewster acutually cam out and said Park wasn't good enough?! I assumed he just wanted malky with him.
