Robbo on BT described it as "embarrassing" and "schoolboy defending" for four of the goals. Would agree to three of them. Hopefully defensive changes will be made. Lets hope that the lash back is next week.
I agree with Robbo. We must learn from this defeat and have the right set up for next week. Crucial we get off to a good start this league season.
-
I will take a 5-2 away win against any lower league side as a good result, especially at this time in the season when the Robbo is trying to get his best side and formation.

Tullochs take/get nothing from any car park rentals.
Correct, that was a conspiracy theory that was debunked at the last AGM.

Two fantastic days.

Really pleased about the signing of McCart. Building on last season our defence could be the best in the league.

That's me renewed for another season. Looking forward to hopefully having a better start to the season than the last one.

Challenge cup final - 1999?

There's an advert in the Courier Executive magazine which says the new strip will be delivered on 23/5/18 at the stadium. Make of that what you will.

Sensible pricing and I will be renewing for next season

Well done lads and it gives Dunfermline something to think about on Saturday.

Can this topic thread be moved to the Rumour Mill until there is confirmation of an announcement.

Performance summed up our season in some ways. Sloppy goals conceded, lack of late concentration in games, limited creativity with the midfield absent and overlooked for high balls hoofed from the back - Austin & Oaklel did a great job IMO at creating opportunities out of nothing and doing all the hard work upfront with limited support.
As with last season (especially the Motherwell game) its sad to see fans complaining about officials continually and how the decisions cost us - simply over the course of the season we havent been good enough and if we had then we wouldnt have been in the position we are. This was a league with no stand out team this season and many equally matched - with our experience and budget expecting a higher position isnt unreasonable.
It's the first 3 months of the season that's cost us. We have proved that we can match or better most of the teams in the league but the poor start was always going to catch us out.

Proud of the team today. They gave their all but as we all know the damage was done at the start of the season.
The positives for me are:
The genuine team spirit
Ridgers - class keeper
Austin - looks like he can score goals
Donaldson - Is going to get better and better
A great midfield of Vigurs and Polworth.

Another big three points tonight - well done lads. I bet the Pars are bricking it now.
-
Dennis thanks for the glorious memories - you were a class act.
-
A super goal from Mulraney and his fantastic pace was causing Falkirk big problems.
Well done to the whole team for getting the job done and in also Ridgers had a wonder save to keep us in front.

Easy decision for Robbo to name the same team. Hope they start off in the same manner as they did against QOS.
-
What a game Ridgers had, he's proving to be an excellent keeper after a slow start. The second penalty award was an absolute joke and justice was done with the save. Really pleased that the heads didn't go down after the second goal and they battled back to get a deserved point.

Not getting carried away about anything but after the last two seasons what a great feeling it is to be top of the league!
