  1. It really hurts to come to this conclusion but I think the Board must be radical and gamble by removing Foran now.  It is obvious to one an all that our results are not going to improve under the present set-up and maybe just maybe a change could give the spark to inspire some results to get near 11th place.  If they don't gamble now then nothing is going change and we go down without giving any of the teams above a fight.

  2. The time to start the blood-letting and taking stock will be when our fate is decided.  We still have it in our own hands to avoid relegation and yes I am only too aware that games are running out but things could change for the better quickly if we could get a early win in the remaining games and lets remember that all the teams next to us will be taking points of each other.

Lets use our energy to give the team all the positive backing we can and you never you the team may surprise you.

  3. What seems to be forgotten was King loosing the ball in the first place when he should have done a lot better. It was though a stupid careless challenge by Brad.

One positive thing from Saturday was the composed and classy performance from McNaughton, we could do with much more of this for the remaining games.

  4. What a massive win that was.  After a poor opening 20 mins the team started to gel and cause Rangers problems.  Mckay's overhead kick was a superb way to win the match and just gives another example of what he is capable of.

If the team can replicate this type of performance against the teams next to us then we will definitely start to move up the table.

  5. As has been said earlier we must score first on Saturday to steady the nerves and get the confidence going.  A win against Dundee will stop the rot and set us up for the remaining games.

Every player must to take responsibility for defending and fight to get the ball back.  How many goals have we lost from set pieces this season - too many.

It is in our own hands to get out of the relegation places.  This Saturday must be the first step in the battle to go up the table.  I will be giving the team and management my full support to turn things around.  We have the players that can do the job for us and they must start believing in themselves.

Finally the board, I think they are very much like rabbits caught in the headlines at the moment. I think they need to be more proactive and vocal in their support of RF and if they are not because they want to ditch him if things don't go well in the next few games, this may well mean they are too late to change things. I genuinely don't have any knowledge of how they view the situation but to me Ritchie needs some help from an experienced manager at the moment.

Apologies for the long post but this may well be a defining week for us this season.

I hope you don't want the Board to give RF the dreaded vote of confidence because the media will have fun with that.  I think a four year contract says it all at the moment.  The Board is also being proactive in giving funds for RF to bring in more players.

I have a strong suspicion this will me moved to the Sunday midday. Pretty annoyed at punters on here writing off our chances. It's celtic we're playing, not Barcelona.

Here here.  Let's remember we are the only team in Scotland to take points off them.

  8. Winning the match today was more important than the performance because we just needed to win a game and then use this morale and confidence boost for next week.  We played some good stuff today with Cole being involved in many of the good moves.

we had a good turnout from Inverness and I estimate to be well over 1k.

So good to be in the next round of the cup and to finally win a match.

  9. Good result for Elgin today and they will be going into our game full of confidence.  We will need to be on our guard and hopefully firing on all cylinders after the break.

I got my ticket today and looking forward to standing on the terrace close to the action of what could be a cracking Scottish cup tie.

You cannot deny the numbers at the back are woefully short. It doesn't matter how badly Warren, Meekings or Fon Williams play they are guaranteed to start as we we have no alternatives. We need competition for places at the back, midfield, upfront we have an abundance of options.

I agree that the midfield has many options but upfront we are way short on quality and regular scoring forwards.

Strong rumour circling Aberdeen this week that he is indeed Dons bound and we are getting Storey back plus Callum Morris.

I would not be too unhappy if this comes to pass.  At the moment we need a forward more than a midfielder.  With a bit of luck Polworth will be back in January and he can fill Tansey's role.

  12. Going back to season 09/10, the challenge cup final against Dundee we were 2-0 up at half time and giving them a real doing.  It was the first game that I realised how good Hayes was.  I also started to think that we could win the league with this group of players.  Unfortunately Dundee won the final 3-2 with Lee Griffiths scoring, I think.  Dundee may have won the battle but we won the war at the end of the season.
