  9. Each time a game is called off due to rain the reason given is that the pitch could not be spiked due to undersoil heating, not the groundmans fault etc. If the club and the groundsman know what the problem is then why can they not work out the solution. Correct me if I'm wrong but Tommy was the groundsman when the undersoil heating was installed in the pitch, should it not have been realised then that there would be a potential problem with drainage. We were certainly not the first club in the country to have undersoiled heating installed, someone did not do their homework regarding drainage.

  15. My post wasn't hypocritical as I don't think it is right to invade the pitch at anytime during play, The seat I saw was being brandished out of a van on stadium road after the game. I did not want to turn this post into an anti-celtic thread, but about the behavior of away fans, a girl of about 8yo had a bottle of water taken from her yesterday, yet a flare was taken into the game and a seat taken out. Let me make it clear that football attracts all sections of the community, but a section of Celtic fans go out of their way to be as controversal as possible, and this would seem to go back many years. Chants in support of, the IRA, Argentina during the Falklands conflict, and astonishingly Nazi Germany during the war (seemingly Parkhead was closed for a time for this). Not forgetting being unable to stay silent for 1 minute every November. But yet they are still considered to be a great support.
  16. Was at the game today, thoroughly enjoyed the day, apart from the score. One thing did occur to me, the behaviour of the self styled greatest fans in the world, who invaded the pitch, fought with stewards, tore out seats and encouraged us to ?join the IRA?, and set off a flare. I know it is a minority but why do people think they can come to Inverness and behave like this? The answer to this question is that there is no perceived threat of retaliation from the home support, but today the home and away fans were separated by a walkway, some red/white tape and one steward. If away fans are allowed to continue behaving like this it is only a matter of time before something happens... what would they have done if they had lost today? I am not saying that all Celtic fans are halfwits, and it was brought to my attention today that they won an award for good behavior after the UEFA cup final although the person who mentioned it to me was unable to tell me who had won prior to Celtic and had there been any winners since.

  19. B) I think we are looking bare minimum of ?50k for the guy and for reasons already mentioned QotS could play hard ball and raise that figure. How much do you think we could get him for? EDIT: Agent N do you mean Tade of Raith Rovers? Thanks for spotting that Yes Raith Rovers...
  20. Tade from Raith Rovers I thought that Tade when he came on in Inverness for Raith did well...remember thinking that i was glad he was not on for whole game. Big physical direct sort of player,, good to take on for the last 20 mins or so to have a go at a tired defence. Its good to have two different sorts of striker. opposition set up to deal with Rooney who plays on the ground half way through second half we change to Tade type player, can cause problems. Similary I remember Dundee utd played with Wilkie at centre forward in Inverness.
  21. What file is it because i clicked on both and found a media player one with only sound and no video under the WMV file and under the flash i get a message saying that Windows does not recognize this file type and then at the bottom it gives me 4 recommended sites which are: Open File (recommended), Open.FLV (RECOMMENDED), Open FLV File (Best) and Windows server r 2008 R2. Is this supposed to happen and if not, what next? WMV opened for me. All highlights are brilliant. Well done to all those involved and thank you.
  22. I went in as the shop opened after the game ...only me there..told " we don,t sell tickets after a game"
  23. Cannot believe that anyone who knows anything about football would have a go at Esson, he is a spl class player and saved us many times, his distribution is second to none in div 1, and he holds the ball more often than not, a very capable keeper My opinion is that critisim comes from 3 sources 1 Halfwits and cretins ( despite what my wife says I can tell ) Solution ignore them they will eventually be distracted by something shiney, go for a pie, forget where they sit, not worth bothering about. Say to them " I respect your opinion but kindly explain to me how you arrived at it" watch them turn red in the face and mumble something "cos he is" 2. Under 14, part of growing up, take the opposite view of your parent..ie my son.. make him walk home reflect on his opinions. 3. A guy who goes to games and genuinely believes that the player is hopeless. He has seen the same games as you but has the opposite view. Solution Go for a pint with this person and you can have hours of discussion about the game he has seen the same matches as you but has a different opinion, he will have reasons, you will have counter reasons for opinions. This is where you meet the true fan. I have a friend who always thought Richard Hasting was hopeless, I on the other hand though he was a first class servant to our club, hours of discussion. By the way isn't time we got rid of that Ross Tokely he is an accident waiting to happen he has no future in the game, only my opinion. ( I'm being ironic, incase any halfwits read this)
  24. If thats the case I will not go to a caley game again what good was christie last time round? That is what is wrong with some caley fans. they think just because they gave good service to caley they can manage a team. It will take some tough talking disciplinarian to whip that unfit lot in to shape. As for saturday I've seen better passing in the street league! Don't think one pass forward was held certainly in the first half. Back and fore across the goal mouth whats that all about! If i was esson i would have been raging at them. The ref was dire , but then he did have duncan constantly arguing with him, that even annoyed me. Get on with it duncan and try to play with you're feet as good as you're tongue!
  25. Brilliant very funny. Made me laugh! not much makes me laugh right now, only crying at the state of ITC football.
