Match fitness was a problem for a few against peterhead and they didn't have to play their best to beat peterhead while against celtic it would have to be one of their best performances of the year

I think foran might do something in the next 2 games like when we first played dundee (maybe the second game) at dens when almost scored when we were 'giving the ball back' to them

IMO eric has been our best player so far, yes he may have a horror touch every now and then but he opens up the oppositions defence so much and can create chances from no where. If he was to be dropped it would be like pedz, he has done nothing wrong (if anything he has done well) and has been dropped. Also Shane is not an 'in the hole' player his agility and vision is not at the same level as eric but i do think shane is a similar player to rooney who can hold up the ball and make darting runs.

I think rooney has been consistent and is one of our hardest working players. He is always pressing on the defenders forcing them to make a pass which our wingers could possibly intercept. And as starchief said he shouldn't be dropping as he is the supposed to be the furthest up the pitch. I think the 4-2-3-1 will pay off against St J if the right team is selected.
