Our January transfer dealings looking more and more bizarre by the match.  So much focus spent on bringing in new defenders when that clearly wasn't the problem.  We have one of the best defensive records in the division and the players brought in are no improvement on what we had. We still have no creativity with the likes of Roddy Mcgregor not getting a kick.  You have to question what on earth the actual plan is.

Most teams in our division would love to have a Roddy McGregor. Why would you not play him ? Been on that bench apparently fit so why is he not getting a game ?

On the topic of Scot Gardiner as per the thread title.  Does anyone else think he exhibits the behaviours of a dictator?

Certainly not liked by many a supporter . I certainly would not invest money that would benefit towards him getting  a fat wage . Maybe the club wouldn’t have been in such a precarious position by paying folk like this .  Also stops a few bums on seats for sure as many have said he’s so not good for the club .

So the club have borrowed money and given security against income they don't have yet.

Was there not one of the Glasgow teams, who our CEO used to work for, that did something similar?  Anyone recall how that worked out?

Sounds like something our CEO would do . He doesn’t fill you with confidence with his past goings on . Digging a bigger hole every time ! Only so long 1 can get away with it all .

  4. Cameron and company are just trying to get something on land as it’s zoned for open space and not for any other use . By getting planning permission on part of the said land it is then hoped it opens up the rest of the land for development . Planning are not that stupid .

  5. The dictator has a lot riding on the battery project decision and it doesn’t look good . Yet another Flop maybe?  . Seems to be a hell of a lot of these where he is involved in.

I have it from players directly that he has been running the team, and club down at every opportunity this season.  Add in the FACT he has played very few games for us whilst drawing a wage, this is the best decision made by the new manager so far.

Agree with all that but not the timing it could have waited until Monday

I'm just going to put it out there.  I have met SG a number of times, at games and outwith, and have always found him good company, interesting and willing to chat.  He's got an almost impossible job, with no money to do it, and most criticism seems to be based on him supporting Rangers, 'Gasp, shock, horror, pearl clutching'.

What I really dislike though is that no-one actually knows the facts but everyone is absolutely sure that if it is negative it is true. Yes communication is poor, but as far as I can see we have a SLO, and a communications team, and they are the ones failing.

The man has tried things, some have worked, some haven't, but at least he has tried.

While I'm on a roll.. Let's be honest about our club and our city. Our attendances of c 2000, if you believe that, are shocking, the cub is in decline and with the best will in the world it is not Scott Gardiners fault.  The city does not support the team, for whatever reason, definitely not because SG supports Rangers, and that is what we need to fix. Getting rid of the CEO will not sort that.

Wondering what he has achieved which justifies his huge wage out of the club ???

Lets just see what come in with the available money and how QP get on after the new manager 'bounce' wears off and Welsh is back injured only playing less than 50% of the games.

Deal could have and should have been done after the weekend and would really have allowed 2 weeks to replace the players bar the Scottish cup game next weekend . We knew these players were going to struggling rivals so not the day the deal needed doing . It should have waited until after the weekend  Honestly how bad is this club been run these days ? Bloody joke bit of  common sense surely .

Sean Welsh fires QP ahead at Raith 🤷‍♂️

Great decision releasing a quality player like this when so much junk in the squad needing cleared up well before him . But it’s the way the club is being run these days  . Very badly run club . CEO is a joke

    Gardiner needs to go ASAP!!

This guy really has no people skills . All he does is cause controversy after controversy . Would not be missed one little bit .

  12. Club will be here long after he goes . Tell me what has he achieved since arriving at the club and to what benefits to the club has his wage been worth paying .? Be surprised to hear anything positive tbh . Won’t hold my breath for positive answers.

Hampden ? Wouldn't fancy a play off against Falkirk or Hamilton either.

At this rate it will be automatic relegation! Wtf is playing without a striker all about ? Being a striker himself that should be 1 area he knows about . Substitutions and timing of them 2 can also be bewildering at times . As fir being sent off yet again . Things are bad enough without you being in the stands again . Personally want DF to do well so come on sort it out Big Dunc  !

Just watched the goals, and the first Arbroath goal was a rotten bit of luck to be fair. We took our 3 very well, some finish by Mckay, and good to see the goals come in different manners (set piece, good bit of wing play, and classic keeper straight to the striker). The crossing is the first thing I noticed different, not just floated balls into the box all the time.

17 games left for Dunc to better his Forest Green record!

    From reading the article, nothing.

The Trust will keep banging their head against the wall by trying to speak nicely to the club.

The club will keep making the same empty promises about working to improve things and sharing information when they can that they've been saying for the last 6/7 years.

Fans will continue to drift away and those stealing a wage will continue to do so because not enough people are willing to take a proper stand against them.

    Death by a thousand cuts

Most fans now at least can see how bad and destructive they are to the club and board members alike . Individually I bet a lot of think the same,   so hopefully for the good of our club changes happen soon and stop this charade that has been brought to the club

Maybe not but do they want imrie and on what reasoning? Or is this another case of ex-player or coach returning?

Be such a bad move . And not a forward move . Fans need a massive lift to drive them back be that Gardiner and Robbo on a one way ticket out of the club or an ambitious signing of a manager or both in an ideal world
