  1. I will leave this one for someone else as had a guess where weeman was and found it without going for a walk
  2. The team got a good review in the Inverness Courier today and they head for Edinburgh on Sunday for their next game.
  3. Inverness Caledonian Thistle can confirm that left-back Lewis Nicolson has joined Elgin City FC on loan until January 2023.
  4. Congratulations to Austin Samuels as he is named in the SPFL team of the week following his two goals against Cove Rangers on Saturday
  5. It looks different from behind it's not far from where my mother was born, won't say anymore just now.
  6. FULL TIME: ICTWFC 5-4 Rossvale We win our opening game of the season thanks to Natalie Bodiam’s last minute winner! The other goals today coming from Kayleigh MacKenzie, Lorna MacRae, an own goal and Alex Andrews! Rossvale had a player sent off in the 2nd half
  7. I totally agree Robert about the Samuels yellow card! I never heard the fxxx word coming from the family stand and it wasn't me just Booooooooo
  8. You are right about Delaney I thought he had some good clearances today for a young player who along with Hyde you could say were thrown in at the deep end but managed well apart from the goal that Cove got, I hope they do well for us in the future. A good performance and result today from all the team well done to all I went home very happy And just to add I don't think there are many Tory supporters in the north stand
  9. Good timing from the P&J this week before ICT play them in the league.
  10. The pitch is looking great when I passed today, the forecast is good for tomorrow so I hope we get a good crowd and our players go at Cove from the start and bang in a few goals to improve on the last game against them. Looking forward to our first 3 points in the league to move up the league after Dundee beating Arbroath 4 - 2 tonight and going top.
  11. I do remember the black JPS ones. Did anyone have one of these? A good car in their day and this one is over 40 years old
  12. I have seen the Lotus Elan in that colour combination but didn't realise the Gold Leaf connection! Might be being a non smoker
  13. You always had a good look under the bonnet when you were buying a car but now the re is no point it's all plastic covers. There is not even a dipstick for checking the oil and there is a warning for everything even when your screenwash is getting low!
  14. Gary Warren and Josh Meekings battling it out yesterday at Grant Street Park where Brora won 4 - 0.
  15. The owner of the Bentley is Gavin MacDonald who has a flooring company in Inverness. His father John (Jojo) is the second hand car dealer and Jojo's father was John (Jock) Macdonald who lived in Cameron Square and had a scrapyard in Lotland Street. About 1970 Jock bought 2 old oil tanks on the shores of Loch Ewe on the Inverasdale road for scrap but to protect them they were surrounded by brick. My father who worked for Willaim Tawse had experience with explosives while doing road building with the Forestry Commision got the job cash in hand to blow away the brick. During the week the jelly and fuse wire were delivered to our next door neighbours shed in Benula Road as he was helping out. Jock provided a Blue Austin Cambridge full of fuel for the job and on Saturday morning the stuff was loaded in the boot and away we went along with the neighbour and his two sons. While my father was setting the explosives we were sent round the local houses to say there would be a loud noise but it was nothing to worry about! After the big bang the bricks crumbled in the dust exposing the steel tanks ready for cutting with the blowtorch, job done without health and safety
  16. That's more Shakespeare than I know Cawdor Castle which was a nice place to visit and very close to home as weeman said, I think I was there over 40 years ago!
  17. Highlights from yesterday.
  18. And here are the goals
  19. Here is what Billy Dodds said after the game.
  20. Boyd on for Daniel Mackay 67 minutes
  21. Delaney on for Duffy 45 minutes
  22. Not so many votes for the away games with them not being online but a good number for the home games so far. The winner for July is Billy Mckay Please keep your votes coming in for August.
  23. This one is owned by a local from Inverness who's father is a secondhand car dealer and grandfather was a scrap metal merchant!
