  1. Given our injury list I was surprised that he has been allowed to go out on loan. He was one of only four outfield players on the bench v Cove, so a more depleted bench for Friday v Partick. I also think he is better defensively than Cammy Harper.
  2. As I've been saying at the start of every season since David Raven left, time to sign a right back.
  3. Yes, Clach were out of sorts for most of the game, but perhaps more due to the gulf in fitness and skill on our part. I thought all our young players did very well including the new signings. Lewis Nicholson put in a great shift at left back and with his support play in the second half. I think he's a better option than Cammy Harper, so please don't send him out on loan again Mr Dodds. No sign of Max Ram though. Hopefully he'll get a game against Brora.
  4. Thanks for your comments. Sorry I couldn't reply as I was locked out of my CTO account yesterday and wasn't able to restore it until tonight. Hoping some of you objected too. The Club Chairman knows about the points made in my objections. Let's just say its situation is somewhat sensitive just now and has not lodged its own objections. Its desired outcome is for the stadium to continue functioning with the existing dedicated parking. The Proposed Local Development Plan view is not helpful though.
  5. The Highland Council's latest version of its new Inner Moray Firth Local Development Plan identifies the dedicated stadium car parks for office, business and industrial development (refs INC07 and INC08). This could undermine the very function and future of the stadium. Without providing these parking areas the stadium would never have got planning permission in the first place. So it beggars belief why the Council support the redevelopment being promoted by lease holders Tulloch Homes. For those interested and/or aggrieved the deadline for objections to this Plan is tomorrow 17 June at 12 noon. The way the Council prefers this to be done is through a very complex consultation portal (link Keystone (highland.gov.uk), which is actually not working just now. As an alternative, you can email objections to [email protected]. I have just emailed mine and attach a copy if anyone is like-minded. Please note that these views are entirely my own as an ICTFC supporter and season ticket holder and not those of my employer. IMFLDP 2 PP objection to INC07&08 V2.docx
  6. I think I've won three times in the daily/weekly draws since I joined in 1994. My second was £500 in 2015 just after our Europa League opponents were announced. That paid for our return flights from Aberdeen to Bucharest. My most recent win was just last week with £50, which I was grateful for, but it will get me about half a tank of petrol at today's prices. I don't know if anyone has ever won the Lottery part of the draw usually around £5k. I'll still keep paying every month though to help the club out.
  7. Home car park fully available at long last, just in time for our last league game.
  8. I can't see us winning another game this season.
  9. Mid table and no play offs again for us. Partick are no great shakes and were there for the taking.
  10. I know I'm straying off topic, but what is the story about that site? The Council seems hell-bent on encouraging redevelopment of the car parks at the current stadium for business and industrial uses through its new Local Development Plan, presumably for the Common Good of the citizens of Inverness. This will undermine the function and the future of the stadium and leave the club looking for a new home. It would make sense to have it near the IRA all weather training pitches but still without a decent bus service and accessibility. There is another site on the now abandoned holes of the old Torvean golf course. That area is adjacent to the Football Academy pitches at Charleston and has in the past been earmarked for phase 2 of the sports pitch development in relation to the West Link.
  11. Last chance saloon to stay in the hunt for a play off place never mind the title in my view. If we slump again on Wednesday I won't be giving priority to attending home games between then and the end of the season.
  12. Says it all. I can't see us winning another game this season at this rate. I lasted until 4:15pm and then headed home for the rugby.
  13. It's the water-logging I'm more concerned about. Huge amount of very wet snow fell in the city today. More forecast tomorrow.
  14. Pitch inspection in the morning?
  15. We also need Sean Welsh to stay clear of injuries.
  16. We did well to recover a point even though only played with any purpose in the last 10 minutes. Carson Sutherland and Walsh were the main culprits in the first half. Duffy was actually playing okay. Interesting that Dodds at long last resorted to 3 at the back. Broadfoot was also playing left midfield before our goal. Have to win next week to restore confidence in the team and faith of a lot of our fans. Any word on ticketing arrangements for the QoS match?
  17. Yes, extremely annoying that most of us missed our best spell. I kept getting the message from Arbroath TV that they were trying to address the outages. I never got back on to the match stream, only the chat. After 20 minutes of changing settings I eventually got on to the Vimeo. I left several messages on the chat asking for a refund before I was given an email address to claim. Still no explanation of what happened though but I received an email about 1pm yesterday advising that I had been refunded the £13.
  18. Official attendance 494. Where are the other 6? Are they the ball boys they told not to turn up?
  19. No spare balls or ball boys wasting a lot of time. We've wasted our wind advantage in that half.
  20. Complete shambles. Poor show directing us to Vimeo. Had to change my settings to get it.
  21. Very funny - not. BT broadband has just come back so no need to engage any further. Enjoy the rest of the season.
  22. Happy New Year to all to all CTO posters. Thanks for the pre-match preview - classy as ever. I had hoped to watch this on the Arbroath TV ppv service but there is a major fault with our wider BT broadband service. The BT recorded message says the estimated time for fixing this is 6:07 am on Mon 3 January!! I'll just have to try and tune in on the old radio.
  23. Could be quite a queue in the morning. 1 m distancing to be applied whilst lining up?
  24. Just noticed that once I clicked on to the Pars TV link. At least a chance of getting more players back for the Arbroath game.
