  1. Today it was essential we won the game regardless of how it was won, its a fact that playing pretty football does'nt guarantee a win, this home form thing was beginning to become a noose around the neck, but no doubt about it recent reports have suggested that the footy ain't been that pretty...this deffo needs addressing...but for now 3 points was the order of the day. Bring on the Rangers >:D
  2. YAHOO....................OH ***** IS THAT COPYWRITE Off for a celabratory beer.
  3. Gringo 6-0 would be wonderland.........but 1-0 would have the desired effect lets split the diff and go for 3-0, should be worth a few celabratory beers post match !!
  4. Surely if nothing else the law of averages mean we gotta break the winning duck today, the players should have been made aware/are aware that a win today is essencial with regards to going to Rangers next game, breaking the home win duck should hopefully lift a bit of wieght off of there shoulders and spread a bit of confidence for a tough away game, then who knows what might happen.
  5. If we could get back to back wins on the board things would look a whole lot better, that is all it takes and obviously could be achieved in 8 days.....seems simple really !!
  6. Well done lads wanted a 3 pointer but a draw gotta be a good realistic away result, lets go on and get that 3 points at home against DA next week and hopefully kick on, all doom and gloom im afraid from my home town club but thats another story, will have a few drinks tonight on what sounds like a good away point for ICT. Onwards and upwards. Dmacca
  7. Agree whole heartedly with that Johnboy have to say though that Johnsmiths wouldnt be the top of my list ale.....
  8. As usual dont matter whats gone before its that time on a match day when i get all optimistic, thinking we'll just shade it today, then first 3 points at home next week......things will be looking alot more rosy. go do it boys!!
  9. Dont suppose itll be the first Aussie accent heard in the Innes......Have a good one mate remember my first visit with my broad bristol accent.........adds interest. Macca
  10. Perhaps we could send some cold John Smiths from the Innes up to the home dug-out next saturday....that might do the trick. Come to think of it perhaps some reverse psychology is needed send it to the DA dug-out......
  11. Ok been a bit of a slow start to the season, heres the question, absolute honest answers only please, aint gonna ask for simple Y/N answers, say why you expect the boys to win lose or draw. For my part think we will do well to draw. But hoping to **** that we get 3 points. Macca

No CC should stay put. Dont know what the problem is at home though, can Charlie motivate the team,is it his tactics, is it the players or is it just the curse of the TCS as some have mentioned? Macca keeping fingers crossed for 3 points tomorrow.
  13. The view from down south is EASY EASY EASY Recon the lads will kick on from last week for 3 points So come on lets do it Predict 3-1 ICT Ben says 2-2 hes feeling sorry for DU..........what a shame.
  14. Just dug out an old album, and havent stopped playing it for the last week..........being an ace air guitarist got me thinking(if you can make the connection)bout rousing tunes that the team could run out to and theres more than a few on this album............. WHY THE LONG FACE...........BIG COUNTRY Anyone who aint heard it buy it or borrow it youll see what i mean. :music05:
  15. Well said Alex, by this time next week ive gotta a funny feeling that we will be wondering what all the fuss was about... Ive got us down for a comfortable home win next week.
  16. With referance to Jagsters post Alarm bells yes-no, who feels that Saturdays game is a definite must win? i dont think it has to be looked at as a must win game, still a little bit to early for that, a draw would not be a bad result away from home, we got to avoid another loss thats for sure...obviously a win would be good though, with football we all know that any run of results can become a hard habit to break weather that be winning or losing. The club and supporters must keep talking the team up keep a positive approach then im sure once that 3 points come things will click. Onwards & upwards...............come on ICT Macca

Well be there in spirit....updated by mobile phone, hopefully with news of 3 points. Dmacca & son
  18. New shirts are cool only problem is that we regularly get asked why were wearing a Crystal Palace shirt, still that aint so bad because its the perfect excuse to put people right and hopefully generate a bit of interest in ICT down south.
  19. To early for alarm bells guys, but getting a bit overdue a first league victory need to get that one out off the way sooner rather than later. Bring on Motherwell......................

3 points today would be good, have to say though that a draw would do nicely.............its a toughy.

Id have thought it was obvious to the club that the Dumbarton game would have been the perfect chance for doing something like £1 a kid scheme, or maybe even £2- £3 quid a kid accompanied by adult. speculate to accumalate.
  23. Well done guys great result, did go with 2-1 ICT in prediction league, but nevermind. Well done GM Macca & son

The club seems to have a good fan base at moment ok crowds could be bigger but what clubs supporters do'nt say that, what ICT needs to do as much as possible is promote itself as part of the area, encourage as much as possible local people and families to be part(more importantly feel part) of the club. Hold open days through the season, get the players in town(come meet the players) use the matches against the smaller clubs to have a £1.00 a kid game(quid a kid) if accompanied by an adult or £5.00 a kid with program and drink thrown in, players could be made availiable after match to sign these programs, meet the kids. How about have a few games through the season where everyone is asked to wear blue & red with some sort of activety before after or at half time put on(say penalty shoot out for kids/or dads etc. These sort of proactive things go along way to building up a bond. Posters could be put up in local shops promoting these events and announced on local radio again getting the ICT name in the public domain as much as possible which would generate interest. Also it would help to make the club shop bigger, one family in there like mine(5 of us) and theres very little room for anyone else, this makes it uncomfortable to try on shirts etc or for the kids to pick up and rummage through what is for sale.
