The Dons day will come sooner rather than later. Keep the faith.
  2. Agree there Kingsmills, but with positive thoughts vibes and attitude plus im sure a little luck itll be more top half than bottom half for us. 4th place would be wonderland and after yesterdays little episode whos to say that ICT can't achieve that. Macca
  3. I feel kinda sorry for Craig...NOT :015:
  4. Nobody is exempt from criticism in football, thats the nature of us football fans for you,we can be very fickle, the thing is we have also gotta give credit where its due, GB got in the right position to score the goal that gave us 3 points, the team was right mentally and worked hard for the win(all be it without playing perfect footy according to some commentators) so well done CC for getting them in the right mind set and well done to all the players for there part in a famous victory that im sure as given many of us the perfect kick start to a great weekend. Now the team gotta focus on next weeks home fixture, a win will only make yesterdays result even more worth while, and i for one even though i like to see complete football won't mind how its achieved. Macca
  5. 9 points up for grabs in October, and sure enough as we all know we got the hardest 3 yesterday(on paper) i can't see any reason why we won't get at least 7 now. 2 wins on the trot that includes the scalp of Rangers should motivate the players sufficiently and i expect another 3 points in the bag for our home game with Falkirk. Have heard several comments about the team not playing well enough, that might be, but there is no written rule that you only win games by playing the opposition off the park, ive seen plenty of games where this happens and you don't get anything out of the game, the most important thing is to win, after that you can work on winning in style or with full control. Keep up the good work ICT. Macca
  6. Mantis that picci makes a great background pic for the old PC, wish id have been there to lap up the atmosphere. Macca

Great day for the team and supporters, just pouring the first of many drinks to be had tonight. I can feel a party atmosphere comming on.
  8. What a fantastic result, wish id have been there. Funny how things change, two hoodoos over come in 2 weeks. Macca
  9. 11-1 for the win Its a funny old game :015:

Ok getting the freedom of the city might be a tad bit over the top....but more important than that we got 3 points in the bag today, if most of us were honest we would probably of thought that that might be just a little bit out of reach at Rangers....but well done lads. Now the Falkirk & St mirren games are very important because im sure that most of us know that 6 points from these two is very achievable. Onwards and upwards.
  11. Have a bit of that...well done GB :notworthy01:
  12. Cmon my babies

Will today go down in the history books as the day the mighty football club of Glasgow was slain by the humble highland club from the north on their own patch. The day that Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC was granted the freedom of the city. Or will the story of today tell of a gallant but fruitless effort ? All will be revealed.
  14. I didnt watch the superstars, spent my early evening training with My sons team St Valliers under 10's down here in Brissol, didnt even know the score until this morning......gotta say my choice of football was much more rewarding than watching some of the so called greatest players in the world of football flop again. And of course my lad was wearing his full ICT kit to boot last night for training so flying the flag for the boys down here.
  15. Turged crap from the superstars, but well done Scotland what a great result.
  16. Well i was right with the fact that Wales would get 1 the rest went pear shaped there, so far so good Scotland and England Deffo going no frills... Macca
  17. Scotland v France 1-2 France should be the stronger team being realistic, but with home advantage for the scots you never know, have to go for an away win though. England v macedonia 2-0 Id have thought it Should be England but expect it to be a no frills win. Wales v slovakia 2-2 Wales are capable of a result if there at there best. Cyprus v Rep Ire 1-1 Dont really know how to call this one, but with the Irish passion you never know. Denmark v N Ire 2-2 Think the Northern Irish could take all 3 points on there day but going for the draw.

***** everytime i open my mouth i give the game away :012:
  19. Cheerleaders now thats a great ideal Alex.....if the club could get hold of the cheerleaders from Worchester rugby club i could guarentee anothers 2000 hot bloody males per game just to see them, come to think about it probably get a fair sprinkling of hot blooded females turn up as well. This can only be good for the game :001:
  20. Ill be there in spirit...if not body................being kept fully updated cheering from the west country of England.
  21. After the home win last Sat (all be it a scrappy affair) i think any result other than a loss at Ibrox will be a great platform for the next 2 games and yes i can see a good possibility of 7 from 9 points being a realistic target....ok that might mean getting 3 points next Sat, but why not. Macca :crap01:

Could any of those tunes be accompanied by the pipes?
  23. The point Sneckfan makes is mirrored around the streets of Inverness, you dont tend to see many ICT shirts other than match days...thats sad, Rangers & Celtic shirts yes. Its a sad fact. As Gringo said the kids are the key, Gotta get the mind set of the kids, get into the schools encourage and identify with the kids, what better players than Tokely with all his appearences for the club or maybe Dargo with his goals to get around the schools, maybe even do some training sessions after school(ok i know the players need to be focused on their game and the priority is to win games but surely as employees of the club it would do no harm to get out there, the long term benifits must be worth the effort) kids are very impressionable as we know, i know if either of these players came to my sons local school, he would come home and tell me wow dad Ross Tokely/Craig Dargo came to our school today and we played football, can we go to watch on Saturday.
  24. What the club has to do is try to create an attitude or belief that they are more than just a football club in Inverness, ICT needs to become part of the community integrate as much as possible. Its a good ideal to ask the fans what ideals they have got to help achieve this because i believe that the fans views are all too easily dismissed when decisions are made in football, i dont believe that football fans in general are given credit for what they know or where supporting their team is concerned, we watch football week in week out some of us play football and lets face it a win on a Saturday is a great start to the weekend on the other hand loose it all together a different matter. So a few ideals. Hand out some leaflets and ask for ideals on this subject at the game. to be posted in a box on the way out. Reward the best ideals, ie free ticket for a home match.(these two should make a big difference in attitude, it will make the fans feel that they have an input, and that there opinion is valued) How about getting a penalty competition going for the kids at half time or some other activety, say keeping the ball up as many time as possible. could extend to the dads, also entertains the crowd...hopefully. Get posters up in the shops around town telling everyone who the team are playing next at home, please come down support us we need you type thing. Promote half time penalty shoot out this weekend for kids. Use the players more get the fringe players/subs out chatting to the kids/visiting the schools etc giving out signed posters maybe. Make more of the reserve games have a few first teamers there who are not playing to meet fans for signatures, give out posters, pens Well thats just a quick thought before tea. Dmacca
  25. Nothing worse than perceived lack of thought or professionism, it don't matter weather it is the quality of the pies or the stewards or what ever it reflects on the whole club, a mistake which prevents the incomming revenue of the club is unforgivable in my opinion.
