  1. I find it's generally best to assume that IHE is being sarcastic unless there is good evidence to the contrary!
  2. Perhaps it is too cheap, but once in a while it's surely good to do something affordable to everyone. I'd like to think though that the club have got their sums right on this. For starters its a pretty unattractive fixture, and the attractive offer will no doubt entice some people to buy match tickets who would otherwise not have bothered going at all. The actual cost to the club of the giveaways (pies, stovies and match programme) is only a few quid a head, so they should make a profit on the event itself. And then you've got bar takings pre and post match. Kerching!
  3. I don't think I've ever gone to Tannadice with as little expectation of taking something from Utd as I'm feeling at the moment. We've lost our last 4 games against them, and they have some serious attacking threats who are on top form at the moment. Utd are on an extremely impressive unbeaten run including a 2-0 win at Ibrox, a 5-1 at Perth, 4-0 v Killie and 2-0 at Hearts. After the Rangers debacle my confidence is pretty low, but I suppose with ICT anything can happen. In summary I'd be delighted with a draw.
  4. Never mind ghosts, it's the vampires Proctor needs to worry about - well, he's always getting it in the neck!
  5. Yeah seeing them together Hayes had more work to do and players to get past. Interestingly England's defence was poorer than that of Hibs.
  6. See if this helps! Can't find a link to the Hayes goal, but just watch the Robben one again and imagine the players wearing different coloured strips, in front of 80,000 stunned fans at the new Easter Road.
  7. That is fantastic value. Well done to all involved, and I hope the fans respond in good numbers. And can we put the quiz online afterwards?!
  8. Arjen Robben's opening goal v England, and Jonny Hayes goal at Easter Road earlier this season. Separated at birth or what?
  9. And it wasn't after he left ICT.
  10. Mike Fraser played in the semi-final of the Maltese FA Trophy.
  11. Good answers, but to a different question! (Niculae was a current rather than former player at the time, and Shearer's achievement was before joining us not after.)
  12. Barry Robson scoring against Barcelona in the Champions League must be a high point for our alumni.
  13. One who is easily forgotten is Allan Smart, who we sold for £15,000. Scored at Wembley for Watford in the play-off final in 1999 to help take them to the Premiership. The following season he scored the winning goal in a 1-0 against Chelsea. A man of many clubs, he was a youngster at St Johnstone and Brechin before playing for Caledonian, ICT, Preston, Carlisle, Northampton, Watford, Hibs, Stoke, Oldham, Dundee Utd, Crewe, MK Dons, Bury, Portadown, Burscough and then Southport.
  14. Rather embarrassing now, getting humilated by the laughing stock of Scottish football.
  15. Joke! Please don't go there!
  16. Well this particular list of visitors to TCS seems to have run its course, so time for the next one - let's name all the homosexuals who have played at our stadium. I'll start things off with...............
  17. Don't ICT have a club Thai?
  18. This thread has the makings of an article for the matchday programme, surely.
  19. Richie Hart - Colombian
  20. Looking down the current FIFA top 100 sides, we have 38 missing. In ranking order: Chile Russia Serbia Paraguay Colombia Peru Ecuador Armenia Zambia Venezuela Iran Panama Libya El Salvador Estonia (should get Ojamaa at some point) Egypt Costa Rica Sierra Leone (might get Mo Bangura) Belarus Cape Verde Haiti Burkina Faso China Uzbekistan Albania Iraq Jordan Guatemala Saudi Arabia Antigua Kuwait Guyana Oman Qatar Bahrain Malawi Zimbabwe Vietnam
  21. Senegal - Ibrahim Tall and Morgaro Gomis
  22. There have been two Faroese unused subs at TCS. Gunnar Neilsen for Motherwell in 2008, and Hallur Hansson for Aberdeen in 2010. I can't believe you didn't remember that!
  23. Someone already mentioned Livi's Moroccan Hassan Kachloul. I had also thought of Hicham Zerouali, but he somehow missed our home cup game v Aberdeen in 2000, but was back for the replay.
  24. Don't think he ever played at TCS either.
