  1. When you concede 2 goals week in week out, it's hard to pick up points.
  2. I've seen the bus going up Corstorphine Road before. I always go to Murrayfield then take a right at Roseburn and park in the streets there.
  3. I should have guessed it would be both!
  4. SFA Press Release Mine was funnier
  5. So have they announced when the Celtic match is being replayed?
  6. Great news, cheers Dude. Hopefully our luck is starting to change.
  7. When I saw this headline on the BBC website I thought it was going to be about Strathspey. But it's actually referring to international football, and American Samoa who had lost every single one of their previous matches (including the famous 31-0 v the cast of Neighbours) before this week's 2-1 win over Tonga. BBC Looking into their results history, they did actually get an unofficial win long before they were FIFA registered. It was in 1983 against Wallis and Futuna....and Futuna was only playing because Gromit was at the vet.
  8. I hope that's a plum duff because nobody wants to see your spotted dick!
  9. If only. So which game will be televised, Celtic or Rangers? Tough call.
  10. I’ve just had this press release leaked to me from a source close to the SFA.
  11. Terry has said he's not keen on travelling down for the appeal hearing. Maybe we should send Liz McColgan's lawyer!
  12. Very good Miss ICT, now can you do a photo of O'Reilly with the words "Face........bothered?"
  13. ICT have lodged an appeal.
  14. Wow, just noticed this. 5 of Celtic's last 6 opponents have had a player sent off! Celtic won those 5 games.......and didn't win the only one that was 11 a side, a home game v Hibs. And it won't surprise you that throughout that time, Celtic didn't get any red cards themselves. Funny how their criticism of refs has gone a bit quiet recently. The campaign seems to have worked.
  15. When will we hear if Butcher is to be hauled up for failing to praise the officials in his post-match comments? Papers are also suggesting that Johnny Hayes could be in trouble with the SFA for tweeting "It's always hard playing Celtic and their 14 men". I'm sure he was referring to the starting 11, plus 3 subs.
  16. Aye, The Sunday Liam!
  17. It might change Tansey's 3 match ban.
  18. Which was softer - the decision, or Samaras?
  19. 0-2 but Stokes was offside!
  20. Drat. Neatly worked goal, looked very easy.
  21. 28 goals conceded in 14 games obviously equates to 2.0 goals per game, which we all know is too high. We also know that it doesn't really matter how many we concede if we score 6, but you can't expect that to happen every week. Just out of interest I looked up how many goals per game were conceded by the team finishing bottom of the SPL in recent years. 2000/01 - 1.89 - St Mirren 2001/02 - 1.63 - St Johnstone 2002/03 - 1.87 - Motherwell 2003/04 - 1.76 - Partick 2004/05 - 1.87 - Dundee 2005/06 - 2.07 - Livingston 2006/07 - 1.45 - Dunfermline 2007/08 - 2.18 - Gretna 2008/09 - 1.53 - ICT 2009/10 - 1.50 - Falkirk 2010/11 - 1.55 - Hamilton So our goals against (so far) is on track to be worse, and considerably worse, than the teams which finished bottom in 9 out of the last 11 years, or 9 out of 10 if you exclude Gretna who were just a joke. I am currently in doubt that we will stay up. But what I'm wondering is if our survival will be achieved in spite of having a "relegation defence" throughout the season, or if we will tighten up as the season progresses to end up with a much more respectable goals against column?
  22. Fair enough, it was the online shop I was looking at and couldn't see it there.
  23. County focus on youth? I've always thought that they've signed more than their fair share of journeymen and 30-somethings. From Mark Hateley, Brian Irvine and David Hannah to the more recent McMenamin, Munro and Duncan.
  24. Mark Brown in "fails to save penalty" shock!
