  1. Can I just mention that the fixtures are subject to tight copyright laws and can only be posted on here under licence. Scotty/CaleyD will be able to confirm whether they have the licence in place. I believe they were waiting for a letter from ICT which is required, but this could well be in place now and the fixtures will be able to be published on here as soon as they are released.

I could not believe when I read recently that websites have to pay hundreds of pounds to legally display fixtures. The level of corporate greed in the football world is unbelievable.

  2. There keeper looked pretty good apart from the 5 goals which i would say the defence should have done alot better on getting rid of the ball alot more. They have the tallest team in the world  and yet they couldnt head the ball away from there own net

Did you see the South African miss earlier where the ball was heading in as an absolute certainty and then it was deflected off by a SA player standing on the line? Class

  3. "West Brom have given Celtic permission to talk to manager Tony Mowbray about the Parkhead vacancy"

Just like to point out that he hasnt signed yet just that Celtic are aloud to talk to him.

Hope he doesn't go. Celtic being so cheap they don't want to pay his compensation can hardly be a great sign for the future for him.

  4. I'm one of the "Palmerston 28' :018:

But that was a meaningless Tuesday night fixture and no supporters bus. Usually in div 1 we'd have 100-150 there. Very good welcome in the supporters' club.

BTW I go via Moffat as opposed to Biggar, or Glasgow as the bus goes.

Thanks Mantis - looking forward to my first trip there!

  5. I didn't say stop supporting them, I just think twice about spending a good bit of money for an hour and half every couple of weeks of sitting in the cold, watching Grant Munro hopeless punt the ball at every given opportunity.

Might I suggest Barcelona instead? Nice football, hot weather, lots of trophies.

  6. It'll probably also depend a lot on what sort of footyball is being played at the time. If ICT go back to keeping it on the deck and have a nice slinky style like they used to have then that will probably dictate the crowd numbers. In fact if it were me, and I was in a position to buy a season ticket and ICT tactics were punt, punt, punt, then I'd think twice about getting one.

    Sorry, but that's ridiculous.

Everyone would like to watch slinky football, but you don't stop supporting your team just because you have to watch utter crap punting up the field football. Last season should have proved that to you.

  7. What a rediculous thread. If and when Butcher leaves would be the time to do this. It is not even half way through close season and he is contracted untill end of next season. Seems like another thread aimed at undermining the managment(Our Tel, Butcher is offski + other posts on various threads) How about supporting Butcher and Malpas instead of another talking of Butcher not being here.

In no way at all am I trying to undermine the management. I like Butcher and want him to stay, but I can't help but feel that he won't be sticking around for long, and I wouldn't be surprised if some of the rumours about him wanting to go to Falkirk are true, or anywhere else for that matter. After all, how many Scottish Division One sides have an ex World Cup England captain as manager or someone of that calibre? None

He knew we might relegate before he took the job and signed the contract. I see no reason why he should go, and I hope he and MM are both here at the end of the season.

  8. There was a big about Foran in todays Daily Star and Sun....think its an old interview though. Saying he has had other offers, but he loves it so much in Inverness, the fans, the people, the club and Terry Butcher as a manager. Promising.

So he's off tomorrow then. Speeches of undying loyalty are only made when you're getting your coat...

  9. [unless of course you hold your breath for longer than 10 seconds.

    Around 93 minutes usually.

    You forgot half time.

    Oops, so I did.

Don't know how I could have forgotten - it's such a guddle trying to find a vein to inject my pie into.

  10. Thank god we don't have to put up with another summer of crap about this.

And with Kaka out of the way as well, then we can concentrate on the more important Messi and Aguero to replace Morais and Foran rumours.

  11. If people from the club take what is said on here seriously, surely they can see it's only a few people, with time on their hands, passing rash comments about the tiniest little things. Do you think the players come on and look at how IHE has rated them after every game? If they do, they shouldn't, unless they like a laugh. Do the board come on here to gauge fan reaction? They shouldn't, most people I know at games don't go on here, and never boo the team they clap, cheer and sigh. You can gauge the reaction in the stands.

It's an interesting point this. Look at Newcastle. "We don't like Allardyce" say the fans. "We want Keegan" say the fans. "We want Shearer" say the fans. I'm sure the vast majority of Newcastle fans didn't want any of these things, but it's the vocal minority whose opinions are always heard. So what do the decision makers then think? It's a tiny minority of nutters, or are these people the vocal tip of a similarly thinking iceberg? Hopefully they do realise it's (normally) the former.
