  1. Him and Brewster were entirely at fault for the loss against St Mirren where McGuire had just come back from injury and was completely off the pace.

It was McGuire's fault that he was told to play when he wasn't fit?

I'm actually sorry to see him go, I thought he was a fighter and would have done well in the first div.

    All the best Phil.

  2. If he hadn't played in those games at the end of the season I firmly believe that we would NOT be playing in the first division next season.

If Esson hadn't let in four against the mighty Falkirk we wouldn't have gone down...

  3. It's a shame in a way that the semis won't be Spain v Brazil and USA v South Africa, as I think they would both be good games and it would be very hard to predict either.

I didn't find the Egypt game that much of a shock - Egypt are a good team. Wonder if their goalie would like Inverness?

  4. Going screaming over a cliff, unlike my pal, peacefully passing away in his sleep, whilst driving the bus!

Followed by his passengers going screaming over a cliff?

    Cool way to go though.

I've always been terrified of being buried alive. Too many Poe novels probably. But I don't fancy any of the other ways either...

If you were burnt alive, wouldn't the smoke suffocate you quite quickly? Hopefully.

  5. (And it's always nice to see Zidan again who played for my German team a few seasons back)

Who your german team? Mine is the great FC BAYERN:)

    Glory hunter :023:

The great FSV Mainz 05, newly re-promoted to the Bundesliga

  6. Ayr - not too much worse than Killie, so should get to all these

    Dundee - no problemo

Dunfermline - fandabidosi - 15 mins by car

Livingston - straight swap for Falkirk re distance

    Morton - no problemo

    Partick - no problemo

Queen of the South - determined to get to at least one

Raith Rovers - used to live in Kirkcaldy but never went to Stark's Park, easy and should make all of these

Ross County - unfortunately my least likely to attend though hopefully get to one of them

  7. You could leave at half time, which would keep your 100% record, and we'll be up 0-3 by then anyway.

You better watch what your saying. It could back fire

Hell, I'm looking forward to next season and am feeling optimistic.

I know that in reality we'll get two men sent off and Bayne will score a hat trick, but I'll worry about that at the time :party01:

  8. Unbelievable. I'm going to miss the first game unless I can figure out some way of getting to Aberdeen for 7 pm on the 8th. Have a family engagement that I can't miss, and it doesn't look like any buses or trains will get me there on time. Was going to try for a 100% record for away games this season. Wonder if I could take up driving lessons again and pass by then?...

Rest of the fixtures look great though: Dens on the 22nd, Starks on October 8th, just in time for a floodlit second half.

You could leave at half time, which would keep your 100% record, and we'll be up 0-3 by then anyway.

  9. a polish goalkeeper might be good business. Theres a lot of Poles in the Inverness area, so could get fans in the ground.

    Worked in Edinburgh

Given the choice of a mental keeper and bums on seats, or a keeper who can actually stop and an empty stadium, I'll go for the empty stadium

  10. Also good to see a Ne'er Highland derby at last the SFL have better fixture organisation than the SPL

to be fair, it is not the SPL's fault that the villagers cant make it to the top flight .......

And a home game on Boxing Day as well.

My folks will be very pleased that I've decided to spend Christmas with them
