Bums, I've missed all this. Can someone give me details of the Elgin signing so I can start grovelling for my dad to go through?
EDIT: okay, I've just learned to read: Waterstone’s St. Giles Centre, Unit 10-11 High St, Elgin, IV30 1EA at 11.30am
on Saturday 21 November.

People have mentioned accountability and not knowing who they were actually having an argument with.
One solution to this (although I don't even like the idea myself!) is to have photographs instead of avatars. You possibly wouldn't be calling someone an *rsehole if you realised he sat in the seat in front of you and weighed 25 stones!

Nope, but kick some butt from me.
"Hey Mr Caravan Man, play a song for me"
"We are SPL, that is no place you're going to"

The Scottish commentary team is only seen in Scotland.
Why they are commentating on English team games when Rangers are in action is another question, but was perhaps an inspired move by STV to prevent undue suffering.
TB's undue suffering, at least :(
-
It is one of of Mr Butcher's key strenghs. I would like to see ICT manager up there though. I reckon this only goes out on STV?
I thought it was national. Or why would we get Liverpool instead of Rankers?

Very enjoyable day out, spoiled only by not getting 8 :(

No I found him in Romania his contract at Mainz had expired and he was back in Romania
Why Romania, because thats the only place that I had contacts if they had asked me to find a player in Poland for example I would not have known where to start. I lived in Romania for the for best part of 10 years was doing Recruitment business for Alan Savage out there so thats why he asked me.
Getting someone that played domestically wasn't an option it needed to be somebody with at least international experience to have any chance at getting a work permit.
Thanks Stevico. None of my business really, I was just always curious why Romania when we had barely looked in England at the time.
-
I can only tell you my part of this, I through my contacts in Romania, Popescu etc, was asked to find a player in Romania for ICT. I returned with a DVD of Marius and gave it to the club.
Although he was playing for Mainz 05 in the 1. Bundesliga at the time, so I guess you actually found him in Germany :(
Not that where you found him matters, but he was therefore bound to be more expensive than someone playing domestically in Romania. And if he was going to be expensive, why therefore Romania specifically? Just curious.

Not a bad support either for a Tuesday night.
I just wish again we would try and take a few more shots on goal, rather than trying to pass it in.
-
Brilliant, just a bit concerned they will be to thick over the bridge to get it.
Can they even read?
Superb

We haven't lost to Rath Rovers since October 2000, winning 10 out the 12 games played since then and scoring 33 goals in the process.
Don't say that
Will be there anyway, hoping for the best.

10CC was an absolutely hopeless and extremely low profile Manager.
What absolute and unadulterated shyte.
Post split we had more points in seventh place than Hibs(?) above us.
We played good entertaining football.
In every interview I ever saw him give, he came across as one of the most intelligent of the SPL managers of the season.
CC was fantastic and I was gutted when he left.

The loss of so many good midfielders.

I still remember with affection Eric Cantona's flying karate kick directed at a fan, for shouting something a tad unflattering at him.
Hmm, that could get attendances up again...I'd pay a lot to watch Rosco take someone out.

We are a small team from a small town with no money.
Perhaps we have no money because we are paying a relative fortune to a management team who are simply not delivering, and paying wages to the likes of Foran and Barrowman that the likes of QoS would be dreaming of if they weren't to busy trouncing us.
I've always thought Barrowman a waste of both money and space, but he's not Butcher's fault. Foran I'm still open minded about.

God, this board is turning into such a depressing place. We are a small team from a small town with no money. Brewster tore our squad to bits. Butcher at least restored morale and can't be blamed for us going down. No individual can. Otherwise you might as well say it was Tokely as we would probably have finished that game with a goalless draw. It was always unlikely we would bounce straight back up. We've had runs of abominable home results before, so that just can't be blamed on Butcher. Some of the new players aren't great. Some of our old ones weren't either. People wrote volumes on how bad Hastings was, but now he was the best thing since sliced bread.
I'm actually enjoying the first division. We won't promote and I don't care. I think Airdrie will relegate as they shouldn't be here anyway. I just wish people would stop whinging incessantly. At the moment, the team is the team, the manager is the manager, and we should just accept that and get behind them. In future I might change my mind about that, but the season has hardly started. And I would have told whoever was shouting abuse to feck off as well.
-
I wasn't at the game yesterday, but one of Golly's other good points is that he's constantly shouting and rallying the team. Whereas Munro as actual captain seems to rely more on telepathy.
-
I did hear a couple of chants near the end of the match which was instigated by the county players and referee...
"Honest Officer, I didn't want to say 'dirty mobilehomedwelling barstewards' but the ref made me do it" :D
-
Also interesting that the complaints came from 'caley thistle' fans in the North stand. Not that it matters now, but the club needs to crack down on people in our stands who are glory hunters supporting Huns - green or blue.
No comprendo - are you suggesting the ICT season ticket holders who complained are actually closet OF fans?

BBC Iplayer is saying they can't show the game for legal reasons! Arghhhhhhhhhh
ZATTOO player :D
Thanks for that Scotty - very useful :D
Only caught the last 15 mins so can't comment on the game overall, but glad we held on.

Tis only the tune I'm using John, not the granny
But it's implied grannyism.
Otherwise we could sing "the legs on your dog go around and around..."
Or "Earwigs, frogs and cheese"
