  1. imrie dusnt get to be a sub cos he cant play football due to his inbreadness and the fact that i have hated him ever since i first saw him play (i hated him before it was cool to hate him)

I won't be too critical as I presume you must be in Primary 3 or thereabouts, but it isn't actually "cool" to hate the players within the club you supposedly support.

I have seen plenty of games where Imrie has bust a gut for ICT. And as he seemed to have promise when he started, I don't really understand how you could form a rigid opinion after one game (which would also have been his first SPL experience).

  2. I also had the pleasure of meeting Barry Wilson who was like a little lost boy when he came up and tried to explain himself. He called over Grant Munro to ask if it was a foul but Grant's defence of Barry wasnt exactly resounding. He claim that he was dissapointed that ICT didnt win didnt go down will with the Queens fans next to us either!

Good to know he'll still take the coaching job when it's offered :)

  3. Not much extra to say, dreadful ref, noisy crowd, fab Hayes goal. I would have taken both Lionel and Eric off at half time, Lionel was spectacularily everywhere but not in a good way, and Eric just seemed too weak and offered nothing. A pity, but I hope Sanchez is back starting next week. And if Golly is still out I would prefer to see Roy at LB.

As for the fat steward with the face of a pig, I am considering complaining to QoS. The rights and wrongs of standing aside, common courtesy would not go amiss with paying customers.

  4. Yes you are probably right and have said it myself, only thing that hacks me off is that if anyone doubts Butchers managerial abilities it is met with derision like he can do no wrong.

I don't think that's true, it just becomes tedious reading after every defeat that he should be sacked when we're sitting mid-table and only 5 points behind the leaders.

  5. We played absolutely abominably under Brewster.

I've said before that I never expected to bounce back up (we don't have the same SPL squad, for god's sake, even if some of them are SPL quality) so I don't have any problem with our current position myself. And as Butcher may be away at the end of the season, I don't see any advantage in getting rid of him at this stage. Although I have issues with some of his subs, I don't see that he tells the rest of the players at half time to start playing crap. They must be doing that themselves. Once again, the players themselves have to take some responsibility for their performances.

I often wonder if the constant "sack the manager" refrain is due to the continual media circus speculating that (almost any) manager should be removed after they've failed to win two games in a row or lost to Barca when down to eight men. Very few teams are going to win all the time. If we were losing every game and were playing dire football constantly, then maybe it would become an issue.

  6. Agree with everything said so far. Good support today, in volume if not in numbers, and after the early goal seemed like we were going to have a nice party atmosphere for the rest of the game. Ridiculous that we let them get two back, but as we couldn't actually see how it happened it's a bit difficult to apportion blame. Nice saves by Ryan in the first half though.

  7. On this occasion those who left early were proved to be the wise ones .

This isn't meant as a personal dig, DC, but you're the only one sticking up for the leavers which is why I keep addressing you...

Why did those leaving early prove to be the wise ones? What would have staying and possibly cheering on your team til the end have cost? Practically everyone was travelling, so why come all that way and then leave? Sorry to bang on, but I genuinely don't get it.

  8. Mantis, it would have been the normal home fans that do exactly the same, that had a day out hunting the glory of a win.... i notice it at every home game.. i try not to get wound up by it now adays...

Utterly bizarre these people. Why bother turning up to start with if you don't intend to wait for the final result.

Maybe they saw the way the game was going to finish and realised we were never going to score .

Yeah, you're right, teams never score at the end of the second half or in injury time.

So the supporting your team bit becomes irrelevant at that point, then.

  10. Yes they stepped up, and we could have continued to out play them if we'd played the ball on the deck like we were in the first half instead of this crappy route one that we seem so determined to play!

The pitch in places was like a tattie field by the second half, so I don't think it was as easy to do that.

  11. First half was superb, so many chances, best I've seen the players play for a long time. Second half, I just don't think they recovered after the double whammy, started sitting back more, weather conditions got worse making play harder, players tiring. Don't know why Terry waited SO long to put on subs.

Why did so many of our fans leave before the end? I really hoped we could get a injury time equaliser and then win on penalties just to get back at these people. I have a very low tolerance of people who don't stay until the final whistle.

  12. I think it's more about the time of the year tbh! I'm struggling, having spent money on travelling up for the C*unty game and had the mrs birthday last weekend I am really scraping the barrell to make it a long to this... especially when christmas is coming up and I know the game is being shown live on ALBA

saying all that, I'm sure I'll be there

Stick on a short skirt and get up to Blythswood Square

  13. Too many people see this as a waste of time this competition.

That's a very sad attitude. A cup is a cup is a cup. What are these people waiting for, a Champion's League final?

I find it ridiculous that hibbees and jambos would want to travel up from Edinburgh to watch, but supposed fans can't be *rsed.

  14. had a read of the first page, but its got a little long so apologies if this had been said allready but...

make it work/uni email account only to join

    Simples!

also helps i think with duplicate accounts, and we can post explicit pictures.

    the win-win scenario!

People are not given work emails so they can join bulletin boards. Many of us may use them, but probably shouldn't, and I fail to see why joining as a hotmail user immediately classes you as an undesirable.

Why do you think retired people, unemployed people, school children, housewives, etc, etc, etc should be excluded?

And why do you want to post explicit pictures? Aren't there enough p*rn sites out there already if that's what you want?
