  1. Bulvitis for Munro? Tough one. And definitely Sanchez over Eric, Eric's not hard enough.

tough one...Bulvitis for Munro? You serious?

Not a chance that Munro is going to be dropped for Bulvitis. Bully had a shocker against County and was hooked at HT. The defence without him have kept a few clean sheets in a row so and from what I heard were solid today, so it will be the same back four for Tuesday.

I'm not sure wrestling a guy to the ground (god, I miss player's names on shirts!) just outside the 18 yard box yesterday was *that* clever, but I haven't seen Bully recently so I'll bow to your opinion. I just wish Munro wouldn't just hoof quite as much.

  2. Great game though no nails by the end, well done everyone. Never expected to see us top the league, fantastic moment when we did. Here's hoping the Pars can take Dundee midweek.

Only one slight gripe, I know free speech and all that, and I swear myself at games, but 90 minutes of listening to people shout "you f*cking c*nt" "you f*cking pr*ck" gets rather tedious after a while. Maybe "your mother was a hamster and your father smells of elderberries" for a bit of variation. Or maybe even something positive towards your own side...

  3. Many many people who frequent TCS are not able, for a number of reasons, to attend away games. They may work saturday mornings. They may not be in a financial position to fund an away day. They may not have the means or the inclination to travel such a long distance.

And I can't go to home games for those reasons. In fact I'm a really crap fan as I haven't been to a home game since Falkirk.

  4. As an away fan who was in Airdrie, I have to say that I was also very surprised by the extremely low attendance (from BOTH teams - if we got a gate of 839 at TCS then we WOULD have to worry) but I just presumed it was down to the fact that no-one had been paid since Christmas.

Still managed reasonable bit of singing after the goal though!

  5. God, this is all so depressing. I think Barrowman is as much use as a chocolate teapot, but I would never in a million years start shouting abuse at him. What on earth is it supposed to achieve? If people can't support their own players, what on earth are they doing there? No wonder away form is generally so much better.

  6. What date is the Killie game?

see above .... there are loads of links .... in the "TEAM INFO" heading is one called fixture list which was updated about 2 minutes after the final whistle !

Thanks Scotty, my brain had turned to mush with the disbelief of Motherwell not scoring three times in injury time...

  7. At least if we're not playing we're not dropping points!! On a serious note though, I'm having serious football withdrawl.

Maybe the club could start selling nicotine-like patches, which over a 90 minute period slowly release a feeling of initial euphoria, followed by an increased sense of doom and despair.

  8. Regardless of the actual game, I have to say how impressed I was with Highland Council as opposed to Edinburgh's - the main roads round here are shocking and apparently last night it was just pure sheet ice on the way to the Forth Road Bridge from Edinburgh, and the journey was actually taking hours when it should take about 10 minutes. So well done Inverness.

  9. So what's the answer.......summer football?

Yes. A long overdue change it would be too. Would tie in much better with the International calendar, European calendar for those involved in Euro competition... More fans going to watch a game while basking in sunshine, or at least not having to invest in thermal underwear to stay alive, makes the product infinitely much more attractive.

It has always seemed like absolute madness to me that we play outdoor sport in the months with the worst weather.

Or we could just have a winter break like normal countries.

  10. Just got back home having gone up to Nairn for New Year so I could go to today's game. Highly p*ssed off at its cancellation. Drove up the A9/A96 on the 30th no problem, did the A96 on the 31st and yesterday no problem, and coming down the A9 today it was better than it had been on the the 30th, clear roads all the way.

There is no way I can get to the rescheduled game. Not pleased at all. Bl**dy police. :) :D
