Surprised there's not been more chat on here re this and similar. Lots of discussion on twitter.
keep it with the twitts, the less of the old firm gossip on here the better
A Dundee United supporting Scottish football journalist getting abused in the street for doing his job is hardly 'Old Firm gossip'. Fans from 41 clubs in Scotland have shown support for Jim Spence.

What shouting juice hostelry are we using?
What time do you get in? We get in at 1038. Not thought of pubs yet. We never go to the same one in Aberdeen. No a fan of the Golf Club so may stay longer in the city centre.

Phil MacGiollaBháin has again hit the nail on the head regarding journalism and a certain football team in Scotland after Spence Gate.
If you haven't read Phils book 'Downfall' I recommend it.

When is his contract up with Luton? I assume he has at least another year at Luton after next summer?

I had a wee coupon accumulator on involving picking winners for every match in the Premiership. Only St Johnstone let me down. They are very inconsistent so far.

I hope they finish 11th. Now that we have relegation / promotion play offs, we can go and watch them get relegated.

Getting the 0741 train from Queen Street with Red Card. It's the cheaper train ;-)

Keith is probably a winnable game for Elgin. It's a shame they didn't get paired with Formartine again. Hopefully Keith stuff em though!
A winnable game for Wick as well. Would be good to get them if they make it through the next two rounds.

Pish! But 3 points. Onwards.

Despite the prospect of the Ghostly sightings, myself, Red Card, Alternative Maryhill et al aren't going to the Hunting Lodge this time. The last few times there have been no locals in the bar and it's gone down hill. We will be in the Portland this time pre match. Only 5 minutes from the ground as well :)
Going usual route - Glesga at 11 - will pop round to usual pub.
Ahh just messaged you there. We'll be at Sir John Moore ~ 10am. See you there.

Red Card has just informed me that we‘re not heading to the Portland... it‘s the Portman we are heading to. Getting the pubs mixed up.

Heading through with a few Glasgow based regulars. Portland before the game.
Same team as last game of course!

Quite surprised that he chose not to score. Hopefully he is saving the goals for Saturday.

Long story but going via Carlisle - see yas in fannies ? What time does your train get in? Could meet you at Central... No Fannies pre match but straight to Portland from station. The last few times there have been no locals in the bar and it's gone down hill. We will be in the Portland this time pre match. Only 5 minutes from the ground as well :)

would hope both ourselves and county ask for it to be the 2nd -will be a far bigger crowd and better atmosphere .Surely the clubs could at least try and influence this, even police i bet would prefer the 2nd what do others think?
I have no problem with it being on the 1st. I would be surprised if there was a significantly bigger crowd on the 2nd than on the 1st.

The Gateshead fans were so welcoming... myself and Red Card are planning another visit next month. A few of their fans are keen for Hearts away in December.

I do hope you get enough volunteers. I'm one of these so called 'unsuspecting members of the public' running it. Aye, it is quite pricey to enter compared to other races. Marathons around the world are getting more and more commercial and run for profit. I couldn't care less. I'll have my running shoes on and will be looking out for the CJT station and some friendly faces :)

Cool. Will probably be city centre still by that point. Will get to a bar near the station and give you a text to meet yas on arrival.
