It was just over a month ago i had a meeting with Mike Smith concerning my flag. (hopefully you remember). He said that i wasn't allowed to take the pole in with the flag because somthing to do with "that's the rules". Also he said that sticks and poles of any sort must not be allowed on flags in any grounds "especially Hampden". Also "surfing flags" have been banned at grounds. However, today at the league cup final there were thousands of people waving flags on sticks!! Also the rangers fans had numerous surfing flags flying around there end. After my meeting with him he said he would get back in touch with me and let me know if he has resolved the situation. Needless to say he has certainly not got back in touch. I really hope Mike Smith sees this message because i'm really quite annoyed about it all. As a fan I'm trying my best to get the poor atmosphere at TCS better, however i think MS has clearly shown he doesn't seem to care. I personally think he doesn't want the hasstle. If that's the case he shouldn't be in that job!!

how much was it too run a bus for you all GJ? couldn't the club help you out like what they do with the supporters buses? or even start up your own official central belt supporters bus?

yesterday (for the first half hour atleast) was immense, the atmosphere was unbelievable :001:. if only the MOB could come up every home game because they certainly made a huge differance :022:. also the guy with the grey jacket, down in front next to johndo was always standing up and starting up some songs!! whoever you are, take a bow son :clapping03:

Well I was thinking of putting my banner and Doresboy's banner TOGETHER - now that would be ultra style. THE MOB I love it. :crazy07: do you have a picture of these bnners somwhere?? or do u mean the O2B one? that would be good bring it along!! also untill the west stand gets a roof on it, it's probs best for every1 to aim for section G!!!

mike smith has phoned my house in the last half hour or so and is willing to meet with me 2mo afternoon before the game about the flag and the pole. he stated how the problem may lie with the police because the pole might be potentially used as a weapon or an object to throw on the pitch at players. so it's all good and hopefully you'll see me 2mo afternoon bottom of the north stand waving my flag, fingers crossed!!

i've made a 6.5ft x 4.5ft blue and red striped flag which was to be held up on a approx. 6ft dowling pole. now DJS thought this might be a problem and got in touch with mike smith. DJS just afew minutes ago got back to me and said i can't take it because it has a pole. "eehhh!!!". red ultras, blue order, green brigade all have bigger flags than mine on poles. so how come it's a problem with me?? is this mike smith being abit OTT again or has he been told from higher authority that poles aren't allowed in the ground. i'm pesonally just fed up with the whole attitude towards fans of the scottish game these days. you can watch fans all over the world on youtube having a great time waving flags, banners, scarfs, creating extremely loud noise and STANDING. most "importantly" theyre doing it safely!!!!!!! however us fans in britain must sit down, shut the **** up, and not have fun but ofcourse we must pay out extreme amounts of money. why are we letting this happen??

i'm also hoping to get something sorted in section G because like you i'm eager to give it another go!! i'll keep you up to date with whats goin on k mate :022:
