Shifty Ciftci
I wholeheartedly agree with your rant D D. Incidentally if you look at the recent performances of D U and some of there ex players you will notice that they are all quite adept at committing subtle and not so subtle techniques of fouling and diving, almost as if they had been schooled or at least encouraged in this diabolical aspect of the game................definitely worthy of investigation!!

I don't wish to 'ram' this point down your throat KIngsmills but I do think that media reporting should be unbiased and impartial, as indeed should moderating be, so if a slur or sarcastic remark is made against our team then I or anybody else is entitled to make a comment on this forum. I sometimes do wish the Highlands are another country, unfortunately we are not, despite the alienation given us by many southern counties or regions in the United Kingdom.

Well we lose our vice captain in the summer, in one respect this is a plus, in the sense that our new leader on the park whoever is chosen can posses a more dynamic role. Putting urgency and drive into the minds of the players. Taking a theoretical grip of all situations on the park and leading us out of trouble. Be it a quiet word or the use of the K I T A principle We need someone with the ability to have his players channel their energies into taking their frustrations out by getting the ball in the opposition net instead of having a yellow card competition. Graeme has been a very valuable player for us and would be for any team but I do question his ability of captaining a side. I was gutted we only got the draw, the collection of cards and suspensions all together this game could have cost us dear. Incidentally it is not a striker for the sake of having a striker, we need but an opportunist who puts away the chances regardless of position he plays in.

Thanks for the feed back lads you confirm a lot of what I was 'reading' into the game from the excellent but rather biased Killie commentary. Esson imo never has commanded the box or organised the defence as well as Brill does, though far be it for me to blame him for losing us the lead in the way we did. It was interesting to note that we didn't really miss any glaring chances this time, which has to date kept our scoring rate down where it is. Strangely I am heartened from this result with the cup round coming up and the visit to Tannadice. It is a reminder to the team that we have got to be alert all the time at the back and keep scoring goals up front. We are still on the glory road but it is going to be a rocky one. I think that was what Latapy was inferring in his recent interview,a case of keep on your toes lads and don't slip back
