  1. And the same from me! Happy Christmas to all of you
  2. They can keep him !!!!!!!
  3. Trouble is those who run our football think they know it all and are so unprepared to listen let alone act that I fear, until such time as there is a complete restructure at the top and the concentration of prioritising and promoting the the big four Teams comes to an end, our football will remain in the doldrums. John Hughes, with the cooperation, commitment and complete backing of ICT players, management and staff, has already brought in a new dimension to the SPFL, gone is the tongue lashing, ranting stereotype coach and in is the genial, encouraging approach which already is paying dividends. There is a suspicion of change in attitude towards the 'lesser teams' emanating from the pundits now with ICT being the catalyst for this but the Media has got to do so much more about getting the message across to Joe Public that football in Scotland is on the up and that an exciting new challenge is coming into our National game. It could no longer be about the Old Firm, the Edinburgh twins and the odd challenge from Aberdeen. Other clubs can evolve and bring a freshness and a much more competitive element into the league. It can happen with strong sponsorship, leadership, fairness and media promotion plus the proper league structure.. The sooner the idea that it doesn't have to be the historical ambassadors that have to go into Europe every year and that other teams if given the financial incentives that those favoured teams have received in the past could equal or surpass those achievements then the sooner Scottish football will equate its'elf with the more prosperous leagues. Okay we may not have the population in this country to fill large stadia but funding through media if sold correctly could put a lot of money into the coffers. There must be other Barry Hearns around and people like him who could take up the challenge to put Scottish football in it's rightful place.
  4. Excellent victory well done ICT
  5. Yeah but like the ugly sisters saw, the boot goes on the other foot in the end, so don't despair we are going to have a happy ending to this media pantomime.
  6. I C T......... Inverness the Cinderella......... of SPFL
  7. 1326 crowd not good for such a great team
  8. Chick being rather patronising tonight saying how good ICT can be. Fortunately we are not hearing too much from him.
  9. Half time.....2 (could have been 5 ---- 0
  10. Nearly another penalty for us then another good attack We are going well
  11. A rare attack by Saints but comes to nowt.
  12. Vincent so nearly a goal but into the keeper's hands everyone thought it was a goal
  13. Williams nearly in again shot just too straight
  14. Another corner short one leads to a free kick Ridgers saves from Tansey and Warren fouls Ridgers. More goals coming I'm sure of that
  15. Pretty even so far in Baltic conditions .
  16. Just switched on and guess whose voice greeted me !!!! Chick's and here was I hoping he would be miles out in the Ferry by now. However good luck to our lads..........
  17. Quite right LIzi but I didn't go as far as to call him a commentator just a commenter. A plebiplonker sounds good to me.
  18. I am in complete agreement with you Rasczac, the coverage was absolutely pathetic again, is it any wonder we are not getting larger crowds at our games when we are being starved of publicity. All the attention was given to the usual suspects yet we are only behind Celtic on goal difference. I think we may have got half a second's more coverage than Brora. I fear that if we were to win the European cup the headlines would be based on what the Old Firm were planning to do the next season. As for Chick's match comments well!!!!!!!!!! If he is near our Stadium tomorrow night, I hope someone will put him in a rowing boat with the oars chained up and send him out on a fast receding tide.. He can be rescued after the match is over by the BBC helicopter.
