  1. Could this have any bearing on our lack of big crowds ? Do the people who post ' negatively ' on here speak to their peers in the same manner? Word of mouth is the best form of advertising and can also be the worst so consequently when someone hears such talk the natural reaction '' they may be at the top end of the league but I hear their play is so boring it's not worth spending money watching '' roby is right we should all be taking positives from our games and passing these on to our mates, friends or whatever. I also find it strange that when people post in the positive and criticise negativity from other posters they are jumped on straight away yet the reverse is met with sarcasm, rage or rebuke.................Usually followed by words to the effect that they are the real supporters or it was topics of discussion on tactics. I liken this approach to the old saying...I used to think he was indecisive but no he just can't make up his mind !!!! Keep up the positivity roby, sticks and stones and all that........
  2. Dare I say some people don't like a good malt whisky others really appreciate and enjoy it.
  3. just found good commentary on ictfc official twitter
  4. Equal respect but each to their own opinion ! With respect, there are always two teams on the pitch and, depending on what the other team does, every team needs a plan B.
  5. I would go along with the Immortal report in as much as we did get too cocky and when we realised that it was too late. However we do not need a plan B....... the game we play can be productive and has been up till now.....All we have to do is put the chances away, there were plenty yesterday to put the little Thistle on the compost heap but we failed to do so. Wyness101 I think you are right..much as I like seeing Watkins tearing the opposition apart in his current role I think a really good Trio could evolve there with Billy. Yogi I'm sure would have tried this out in training so it might not be as cut and dried as all that., We do need a hit man or a 'muscle inner' though that is for certain just to bring Billy back to doing what he is best at which is capitalising on mistakes and putting the ball in the net.
  6. Look REF................Awwww you poor boy!
  7. These International breaks never seem to do us any good.
  8. Mentioned Arbroath though !! Much bigger news ??
  9. They should earn their places though Alex not buy them !!
  10. WOT none for the ball boys
  11. Excellent summary of the game, as you say not many positives there ..but one big one.... in as much as this team are trying to emulate their big brothers' style of play which means that if a sudden crop of injuries or suspensions come up those called into play will not be too mesmerised and should be able to acquit themselves that much better. Good to know that Esson is still able to give a quality performance too. Footnote.......As we know to our cost it takes considerable practice and skill development to bring about real success in the possession game but Yogi has proved it can be done. Have you noticed how many teams are trying to catch on to this style now??
  12. Thanks C D, Good to see Calum scored again, other than that can we take anything positive out of the game?
  13. All sounds a load of shiitake to me.
  14. Has to be Billy for me, the overall workhorse making many assists as well as putting the ball in the net. Rooney, I agree may fit in well in most respects but reminds me more of the lazy poacher of the olden days, doesn't have the same work ethic in my opinion.
  15. Yes good luck to Ryan, a cap and a good performance will do both he and ICT proud. It is a wonderful opportunity for him and thoroughly deserves his place in the squad. He is a very capabie lad, my fingers will be crossed for him.
  16. I am sure JH has everything under control, he will in his own time supplement the squad where needed. We are all concerned about hanging on to what we have, John has done wonders so far with the club and I am sure he will do everything in his power to keep things going as is and adding when he can. I'm just enjoying things as they develop.
  17. Let's just extend all their contracts by another two seasons and yes John Hughes as well
