  1. Lets look at what you could have won. Im still waiting for Sheepslagger, Wynthank15 and Crownboy49 to get in touch, so if you know them ask them to send me a message. Oddquine your flag has been passed on as requested, I gave it to a 5 year old (who isnt a current ICT fan) he chose the Together We Believe flag and he wants to put it up on his wall and his mum is now looking to enroll him in the Summer Hotshots Programme.
  2. Good work, you certainly have a talent for composing tv footage, I think you could be a great asset to the club this season.
  3. Hopefully you're right and we can look forward to seeing a wider selection of food . That would depend on the current contract stipulations with the current pie suppliers. If you were to do a servery speed trial, subway and coffee, v pie and a coffee. you would think pie and coffee would win hands down. However I have been informed that Man City have a Subway outlet and it works fine and look how many fans they have, they just have a more basic set menu, everything is preped up fresh, wrapped up and ready to serve. Dougal I think you will find a few improvements this coming season, its 20 years on, the club are forever looking after the youngsters to maintain and grow the fan base, its also good to see some money coming back to look after the fans who invest in the club over the years. Ideally, I would like to see the fans happy, stimulated, perked up, vibrant, full of energy and ready for action before KO. Lets make every home match a good day out. Break the routine, please break the mould. Enter the bar, for a few beers nice and cold. Enter the stadium and let the story unfold.
  4. The prizes and flags have now been despatched, the response has been very good and I am now only waiting on 3 replies from fans for an address. I will try and put up a picture later of the prizes, as Jim Bowen would say "lets look at what you could have won."
  5. The above picture was the design at the very early stages. Its a bit hard to make out against the back ground.
  6. I can do better than that, I have one of the early prototypes, that don't have any logos, designs or colour. I'm open to offers.
  7. Top six next year is top six this year. Dougal is six this year
  8. If the additional sponsor was scrapped just so that the shirts could go on sale 4 weeks earlier. How may extra would we have to sell to cover the loss in revenue. 2000 additional shirts maybe.
  9. The only trouble is you would be handing out empty beer bottles
  10. I can see both sides of the argument. We could sell more, but we have a place to sell food already. The club probably won't have the staff or time to do it. Even to volunteer to do it you miss the football. However we have a club shop and everyone knows where it is yet a market trader can turn up outside the the stadium, sell plenty and not a single penny goes to the club. Maybe the balance would be for the food sellers to come out during the game and sell sweets etc but do the club take a cut or a single payment for the day. I would imagine a vendor could sell caps easy on a sunny day in the Main stand or hats and scarfs in the winter but yet again who does it.
  11. They got it for eating up all their dinner.
  12. The flags are now on the move via road so I hope to get them towards the end of next week. I hope to get as many as poss sent out next weekend. Including prizes. If you haven't done so can you please send me a pm with your name and address.
  13. Good point Dongle, I think together we could produce something beautiful. MC12 and the CJT I wouldnt say it was closed shop, you can buy your way in all you have to do is send some money to the right people . £1.
  14. Link wouldn't work but if you cliçk on your name and click on client area your there, I'm assuming that's if you've paid before. Will pay tonight when I get a minute
  15. I take it some of us have a busier work schedule than others
  16. But who were the real fans, the ones before Dalneigh was built, I think the thousands of town dwellers would have supported Thistle, leaving the fishermen at clachnaharry and the cattle drovers from Rossshire and beyond to pop in and watch a Caley match.
  17. I still champion the idea of a lot of people doing loads, lol. That's when great things happen.
  18. I will give that food for thought
  19. I worked that out to be, a possible scenario because it isnt an impossible scenario. If they couldnt even reach league membership then they wouldnt be in a position to go it alone and would still be in the highland league. I should have written another option as opposed to the other option. I wrote more but I deleted it because its been done to death.
  20. I suppose the other option was caley join div3, caley move to the longman, caley becomes inverness caley, inverness caley go bust.
  21. 12th man, I would never mock ideas, especially those concerned with broadening the fan base, increasing the profile of the club or the income available to it, but I can't respond to them unless you "reveal" them. Obtaining funding poses no questions - most of the points that you make are matters of operational policy that the club's stadium manager would take very little time to sort out, and the costs are well known to the club already as are the potential figures for opening up useage. At present, the club's major working asset - the stadium - works for one day a week when it hosts either an under 20's or first team game. It has to be better utilised than that. Like you, I am all for giving our fans a greater voice in the running of the club and that is something I work towards at all times. I'm also completely behind any idea to establish a network of regional ICTFC fan bodies, whether formal with CJT or informal and again that's something that we are open to discussing with anyone. Like you, I think that the club's merchandise should be of a quality that reflects the standards of the club and by and large it is. So there is much we agree on. However, I would really like to know your ideas about how to "improve things for an outlay of 1 full paying adult over 3 yrs" and see if there is any way that I can assist or that CJT can. Cheers Davie, I have forwarded a few ideas to the club. Without any feed back theres not a lot to discuss. I would be quite happy to pop down and discuss/ plan/ do it, but I have an annoying habit of sticking my nose in a bit too much sometimes. So I will leave it be for now but the 1st home game is just over 7 weeks away. I popped down to collect the prizes for the people who donated towards the cost of the CJT/ CTO & Pride of the Highlands flags on Sunday and did notice that the cladding was looking pretty grubby, approaching from the car park, maybe an exterior clean up could be phase 1 and many hands make light work, oopps Im doing it again. I will send you a PM regarding supporters clubs later on tonight
  22. That's good and Scotty had 'Poached' Salmon for tea so everyone's happy.
  23. That's very kind Clacherholiday 2 but as far as I'm concerned you won it fair and square.
  24. Clacherholiday2 wins the cup final shirt. !!! Well Done !!! And top marks for Kenny Cameron, for donating the prizes, what a guy.
  25. Scottys right up at the web cam now and the winner is.
