  1. Some good news, heard that Sone aluko is doubtful for the game, hes back in training this week but probably wont make Saturdays match.
  2. Ha ha CD, all I can say to that is (117-2.5=2.5%) ??? :thumb04:
  3. On the fith day of christmas George Fraser gave to me, Ice cold winds.
  4. How about all the clubs put their heads together and issued an away season ticket book. IE 100 tickets are issued to each home club for the fans at a cost of 1/12 of the sum of all the away gate prices (to average it out ) minus a certain discount as an incentive. 100 tickets x 12 clubs = 1200 away season tickets and they can only be used for the nominated club. so up to 600 away tickets are being used at all the weekends football matches. advantages All clubs get an early cash advance before the start of the season. Reassurance knowing that 100 away seats have already been paid for every home game. Not paying the old firm 5% admin on away seats. Extra safety at the match as the home club will have access to the names and addresses of the away fans in their stadium. (in theory providing everyone sits in the correct seats)
  5. Good positive fighting talk, You just have to remove the experience of the bad run from your brain, hypothalamus or where ever you want to store your negative feelings, remove that thought and watch the match with an open mind.
  6. With regards to the courier article, I haven't used the bus since the 1st div days, the bus trip to the Kilmarnock cup game which was 'cancelled due to a frozen pitch' was a 10 hour round trip The A9 doesn't help, a bus is legally supposed to drive at 40 mph on single carriageways which is about 85 miles of the A9 and guess what, although a crawler lane widens to 2 lanes, the speed limit for a bus is still 40 !! Thats why the camera vans love to park on them.
  7. I know you've always wished to get to a cup final with ICT. You've helped the club get into the SPL within 10 years. I'm giving you 10 years to get ICT into a cup final as manager! Its now time to take your experience to the next level and I genuinely hope to see you back one day as manager. Best of luck.
  8. Must be trying to cut the wage budget for possible winter signings,
  9. What speed do you assume you can drive at when overtaking on a crawler lane in. A a lorry B a vauxhall astra car C a vauxhall vivaro van D a vauxhall astra van
  10. Out on loan Barrowman, to be replaced with an experienced striker who likes to run at defenders
  11. If nobody claims it,then the winning number will probably be up on the wall at the Aberdeen game.
  12. I would be glad if Barry left the club. I don't mean that in a bad way but the sooner he cuts his teeth the better and if he makes a few mistakes along the way then it wont be at ICT's expense. Then the sooner he can come back as our manager which could be 5 to 10 years away. Robbo prob as manager and Barry as player/assistant manager as long as Livvy can get their house in order.
  13. We don't need bagpipes and drums to make some noise. The stadiums loud enough as it is. So how about getting titch back to kick a football into a vw beetle instead.
  14. MY apologies I will start again ! DUE TO THE RECENT VAT CUTS ! ( which to an individual is very small but collectively adds up to a fair bit ) How would you feel about the current savings on VAT going to help fund the youngsters getting a reduced rate at the gate now and again or putting the money towards youth development. I have mentioned the above, as the club 'could' use this to clear some debt, but it would be deemed more charitable to divert the money in this way and possibly only upset a small minority, (if they are aware of the changes). If the public are so upset about giving 50p to the club for a good cause, then go and hand in your match ticket and ask for a 50p refund from the club. I'm all in favour of the savings being used in this way. Half season tickets could get the discount, and keep the prices exactly as they were at the gate before. PS passing on the VAT cut to the consumer is NOT compulsory. maybe the taxman could stand outside with a charity box collectiing for the vat deficit fund
  15. Should ICT really bother to pass on the 2.5p cut in vat which equates to around 2.13% off the usual price? The money could go to youth development or help fund ie under 16s for ?5 matches instead.
  16. wasn't it an Irish pipe band which was based at Fort George that played for the first match in the SPL.
  17. What happened to the army pipe band that used to play before kick off for the home matches? why did they stop and can we get them back?
  18. who stole my javelin I was just about to throw it
  19. good result for caley. If we can get an early goal on Saturday, the tic fans will REALLY turn on bhoys after being knocked out of europe so early. They will be dreading a home fixture so soon.

  21. well done ! Ps get a contract extension sorted out soon.
  22. ?33.33 + ?35 + ?70 +the ?20 returned If it was ?20 on an accumulator bet it would be worth ?6,542.68
  23. A good goalie instills confidence in the back 4 and the back four looked at ease in the last cup game. Its not about looking for a scapegoat its about getting the best out of players in the short and long term. Esson was a good goalie for the Dons, no harm in seeing how the team performs with him in goals in the Spl.
