If the additional sponsor was scrapped just so that the shirts could go on sale 4 weeks earlier. How may extra would we have to sell to cover the loss in revenue. 2000 additional shirts maybe.

I can see both sides of the argument. We could sell more, but we have a place to sell food already. The club probably won't have the staff or time to do it. Even to volunteer to do it you miss the football. However we have a club shop and everyone knows where it is yet a market trader can turn up outside the the stadium, sell plenty and not a single penny goes to the club. Maybe the balance would be for the food sellers to come out during the game and sell sweets etc but do the club take a cut or a single payment for the day. I would imagine a vendor could sell caps easy on a sunny day in the Main stand or hats and scarfs in the winter but yet again who does it.

They got it for eating up all their dinner.

The flags are now on the move via road so I hope to get them towards the end of next week. I hope to get as many as poss sent out next weekend. Including prizes. If you haven't done so can you please send me a pm with your name and address.

I worked that out to be, a possible scenario because it isnt an impossible scenario. If they couldnt even reach league membership then they wouldnt be in a position to go it alone and would still be in the highland league. 12th man, I would never mock ideas, especially those concerned with broadening the fan base, increasing the profile of the club or the income available to it, but I can't respond to them unless you "reveal" them. Obtaining funding poses no questions - most of the points that you make are matters of operational policy that the club's stadium manager would take very little time to sort out, and the costs are well known to the club already as are the potential figures for opening up useage. At present, the club's major working asset - the stadium - works for one day a week when it hosts either an under 20's or first team game. It has to be better utilised than that. Like you, I am all for giving our fans a greater voice in the running of the club and that is something I work towards at all times. I'm also completely behind any idea to establish a network of regional ICTFC fan bodies, whether formal with CJT or informal and again that's something that we are open to discussing with anyone. Like you, I think that the club's merchandise should be of a quality that reflects the standards of the club and by and large it is. So there is much we agree on. However, I would really like to know your ideas about how to "improve things for an outlay of 1 full paying adult over 3 yrs" and see if there is any way that I can assist or that CJT can. Hes getting closer. The name begins with a consonant.

Scottys coming over, covered in blood, clothes ripped to shreads, stinking of fish, clasping a manky looking Salmon, Hes shouting something,I cant quite hear what hes saying as the water is so loud. Ive turned the volume up,I think hes saying "What on Earth was wrong with using the computer generated random selector, you nutter" Someone must be having a bad day. Hes got the tag in his hand, hes coming closer and I can count at least 7 letters in the user name.

The Bear starts to come round, he has to make a decision, does he fight for the Salmon or grab the book as it might come in handy in the woods later. It looks like Scottys got a fight on his hands, fists and claws are flying, Scotty is getting the better of him with a few round house kicks, It must take him back to his drinking days in the Cummings Hotel.

The bear takes a swipe and a Salmon is pulled clean out of the water with a tag clearly visible, Scottys close by. He has a book between his teeth, Fascinating facts by Charles Bannerman, Hmm, I dont think Ive read that one either, it looks like he is swing it from side to side, the bear has noticed the book and becomes very sleepy, with the other had Scotty starts to pull the Salmon out of the Bears grasp.

I havent seen Scotty for a wee while now, There must be some activity going on as a bear has waded into the water, something has caught its eye. Ah there he is, Scottys head is slowly appearing out of the water behind the bear, like Stallone in a Rambo film but whats that between his teeth?

John West ??? I think that Salmon was earmarked for someone else. Scottys in the water now swimming over to get nearer to some of the other bears, maybe they will be the first to reveal the real winner.
