ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
Sadly, as we have seen season after season, a poor pre-season marks a poor season ahead. I'm not going to hold my breath. Dodd's signings so far have proven to be less than inspiring ... the proof of the pudding is in the eating ... and at the moment anyone eating that pudding has dose of the shites.

ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
A few weeks ago I was very vocal about my concerns regarding Broadfoot and Gardyne, and held my reservations about Dodds. After Broadfoot's performance against Peterhead I happily rescinded my viewpoint - not anymore. Sorry but Broadfoot and Gardyne need to start doing something very special or we have wasted a years contracts on the pair of them and two years on Dodds. Let's face it Dodd's is out of his depth. I'm going to hazard a guess and say McCann was the one with nounce in their partnership.

ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
So far, happy to be wrong about Broadfoot. His interview didn't come across well. His age seemed to be a bit high ... but he let his feet do the talking and was impressive. Gardyne looked sharp although concerns about how well he will gel with the youngsters as he looked a bit frustrated with them tonight. Manny looks to be a find, and then King Doran does what he is good at ... pure class. Looking bright for us ... and as said I am happy to be wrong!

ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
Thing is Brad, albeit a car crash, was at least playing for the shirt ... Kirk is hanging onto his career for one more year and the money. In his interview he really didn't seem that bothered.

ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
I'm of the same opinion Jack. What we need to do is start to believe we will be back in the SPL next season and build the squad ready for that. Not try to do it and settle the team in 3 games once we get there. I reckon Kirky boy is trying to extend his career one more year but is only playing for the money and not the badge! Not a great signing - even his interview showed he wasn't that bothered. Complete disaster in the making!

ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
Surely it has to be better to recruit younger players with experience who have longevity within our team? There is no room for settling a team in the SPL as you hit the ground running!

We have done it with Gardyne as well haven't we? With Doran and others on short contracts it is a genuine concern.

ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
Jury is out on this one. Experience yes, but then I look at the other clubs around us and see their younger signings that I suspect will give him the run around. I hope to be proven wrong and it is indeed an inspired signing. Time will tell. My other worry is building a squad with one year contracts in the hope of promotion doesn't bode well. If we do get promoted then we will be rebuilding again and trying to do that whilst trying to stay in the Prem. It feels a bit short sighted. Don't think we would survive a yo-yo two seasons.

Broadfoot ... Noooo. That smacks of desperation. He is past it. That shows a lack of ambition if he is a player we are realistically looking at. I would rather have Carlo back.

Pre-Season 2021-2022
Vaccination does not prevent people spreading it. There are people with second, and even third cases, of Covid even after the jab. The reality is it is here to stay so we have to get used to it. Don't let your guard down even if you have had the jab. The jabs may only be effective for a year or so and are less effective as time goes on. It's not a quick fix for any of us.

Pre-Season 2021-2022
I thought pre-season was about getting the lads up to speed. It actually makes the scenario worse because it's a complete waste of time. What did we learn from the exercise? A load of kids who will barely feature in the league can beat an HL side. Some people seem to have a serious dose of the happy clapping!

Billy Dodds is the new ICT Manager
That's the BBC. I would take anything they say with a pinch of salt.

Billy Dodds is the new ICT Manager
He's Head Coach not Manager. Hiring and Firing will more than likely be the territory of Robbo. Doddsy will be training, team selection, and on the park management. That's how it works with other clubs with Directors and Head Coaches. I can't see a negative as his appearence came about with a massive shift in form for us. I don't think that was a co-incidence ... our strikers couldn't hit a barn door before hea rrived and then all of a sudden we start scoring goals. He knows the team, he knows the club, and there is no expensive resettlement. It's a win win situation.

New Inv CaleyT Head Coach
Carlo will be coming home as head coach. He has been coaching for a number of years now and he has his little business. Put him under the stewardship of Robbo and working closely with Baz and Kells, and we have a winning formula.

Robbo Moving On...
I have a feeling Carlo might be the new first team coach. He has just been released by the tinkers over the bridge. I would be happy with that.

Robbo Moving On...
Pure class. C*unty have appointed Alky Malky McKay as their boss. We were the dominate and respected club in the Highlands before but now we are untouchable as far as county are concerned. We would have to appoint Fred West as our new manager to out do C%unty!!!

Robbo Moving On...
Direct from Livi: "Caigy leaves Livingston to focus on developing his existing role within the goalkeeping department at the Scottish FA whilst Foxy moves on to pastures new, with an opportunity to progress his coaching career elsewhere." We may have our answer!?

Robbo Moving On...
Stevie Crawford resigns from the Pars. Could it be linked with our vacancy?

Robbo's interim - Neil McCann
Well I don't know if you noticed but he has been working with Robbo for quite some time. He has experience at Elgin and Wick. Experience both good and bad is valid. Robbo has had successes and failures but look at the manager he is for us. He has the shared experience of Ryan and Charlie to draw upon. When you listen to him in interviews after games he is usually spot on in his assessment. I rate him and see his potential. Our club is great at bringing the best out of people who have been thrown on the scrap heap. We do it for players so why not for managerial staff? Or shall we say they are crap? Be all doom and gloom? Sometimes I think certain people on this forum want the club to fail because it suits their stupid 25 year old agenda's that they can't let go of.

Robbo's interim - Neil McCann
McCann wouldn't have been my first choice but he has graciously stepped in to help us out - for that alone we should all be very grateful. He will be putting himself in the managerial shop window so will be wanting to present a professional approach to those watching. He has experience, is knowledgeable, and knows the Scottish game. We wanted somebody to tick the boxes and he does all of that. Life is tough for all of us, not least the senior staff members, even some players. If we keep battering people down we will get what we deserve ... nothing! It's not about happy clapping - it's about getting behind our team, you know the one we all (supposedly) support. We either go backwards and face possible relegation, part-time football, or worse! Or we all dig in and get behind the club and encourage ... and move things forward!
