Talking about the terrible twins I was listening to Terry Butcher on the wireless the other day commenting to his buddy game reporter or commentator and, boy, did he sound good. I have no time whatsoever for T.B. but he does appear to know his football inside out and seems to be doing very well at the BBC.
Maybe Richie should have some clandestine meetings with TB over next few weeks to get some defensive tips !

Ryan christie transfer fee money for reaching europe ! Inever said the board lacked ambition i said they never matched his which may have pushed us in to a best of the rest fight we were a decent side under hughes! What sort of $$$$ was yogi asking for?
Doubt anyone apart from The Board will know the real numbers but rumour was anything from £300k to £500k extra which is a big number for our club

According to Richie Foran in today's P & J he has not had a reply from him and thinks he is going abroad.
Either Richie very smart in deflecting his interest in case it did not happen OR he hasn't a clue in the transfer market !

Richie has been an outstanding pillar of the Club but they should have had the sense and foresight to engage a really good experienced Assistant especially for his first seas
Think it was Richie who re appointed Rice!

East Kilbride only lost 2-0 to Celtic a couple of seasons or so ago. Just saying like.
Aye and we drew 2-2 with them earlier this season!

Laing I'm not so sure. I was under the impression he was a bit dodgy.
Sign Laing and the leaking defence will become a sieve he is useless.
regardless of the comments ,McGowan would strengthen the back 4 but is he not an Australian international and would need clearance like the Canadian guy ?

Stockley and Storey would walk in. Pawlett wouldn't stay upright long enough.
How true!

Heard on Saturday that Warren is suspended next Saturday. If that is the case the change that Foran needs to make will be enforced finding 2 new centre backs who combine well but with only Brad available who play's alongside him.

...what I'd pay for a Shinnie/Mckay combo these days: All our problems would disappear!
No so sure ,the pair of them are no longer the players they were - however we maybe able to resurrect their careers for the right price!!!

I see Jason Brown is going to Cove on loan for a month. Strange timing given our defensive injuries?
Unless we are getting some new signings on Monday!!

No worries there then I thought defence and midfield were immense today.
Losing a soft goal to a team 3 leagues below us doubt you could say we coasted through this with Warren being described as throwing himself into blocking tackles.
"no worries " is not my description but happy with result

Just when our defensive injuries couldn't get worse. Hope what I am hearing is not true or Sutherland will have a field day.
Any positive result will do including a draw

I think that he does get credit and he deserves to. There is no denying his success. However, there is equally no denying that his place in club history was tarnished by the self serving manner in which he engineered his lucrative self serving exit.
Agree and just maybe he saw what was coming .However he is still looking for a job so it is a lose lose situation for him and the club.

Say what you like about Roy McGregor, he knows that it's very difficult to run a full time football team outside the top flight in Scotland so when County look like they are in trouble he makes sure hsi team stays up.
£1.2 and £1.4million losses in consecutive years using Roy's money may be admirable but not sustainable. However you are correct money = success in football and ICTFC ain't got any!

He apparently is technically better in training than anything we currently have - whatever that means

As has been said before we need to get back to our strengths which was that we were one of the best defences in the league and if that was still the case we would be facing a different scenario.
would like to see a Director of football with an old head like Malpas,Park or even Butcher alongside or advising Foran to take away the gung Ho approach of a new manager and steady the ship.
our back 4 are tried and tested so you do not lose that overnight

I see from the club stats that Boden has scored 5 goals from 8 starts
Doumbouya has 5 goals from16 starts .
apart from the quality of the opposition the stats speak for themselves

Glad to see someone else finally asking the same question. Since his arrival or latapy leaving we are no longer an attacking team, last season I put that down to injuries and less quality but now even with wingers and more potential creativity it's still the same. Ironically we play defensive yet can't defend so perhaps our solid backing was down to butcher and Hughes as ex defenders being able to coach that skill effectively.
Good point and it is since Rice has been taking training we have had all training ground injuries . Under Latapy a season when we used only 15 players?

Horner how could I forget him - well quite easily- Release Release Release!

For those with glasses half empty, an alternative reason to go is that this might be our last trip to a Dingwall for many years
Maybe not they could go down as well !!!
However only 3 good results allows us look down at the bottom six ,if we start with a win on Saturday .

Polworth. Must Retain he will be a jewel in the crown like Christie
Draper. Must Retain likely to be a future captain
Vigurs. Release
Tansey. Offer a straight swap in January for Miles Storey
McKay. Retain
Doumbouya. Has had his chance release
Cole. Retain
Esson. Retain as coach only. Cammy reserve keeper
Doran. Retain
Mulraney. Has had his chance release he hasn't got it at this level
Fisher. Retain in Doumbouya role
Boden. No option but to retain but give him a chance
King. 50/50 to Retain
Sutherland. Retain
Raven. Release
Macnaughton Retain subject to fitness/medical

If you refuse to play him then you don't allow him the chance to fit in and develop. So why the heck did you get him in the first place? .
Agree entirely ,it is not as if he hasn't a past goal scoring record ,albeit not prolific ,but better than anything we currently have!
If you are not playing you cannot score.

Is Ritchie chopping and changing from choice or due to other reasons
last Half dozen or so games we have Draper and Tansey I think suspended
Macart cannot play due to loan deal
Tremarco, Vigurs,Cole,King and Mulrahney injured at various different times.!
so do we play the same players every week even if injured just to maintain the same team !!!!!!
