Why let Cammy Mackay go on loan to Elgin when Ryan Esson is not fit. It makes no sense at all.

He was recalled from Elgin already this season I understand .In an attempt to give him game time the club is damned if they do and damned if they don't . Apparently they can only recall once without the loaned club having right of refusal.

  2. Doubt the Storey or any other loan is on the cards but if they want Tansey they can have him for £50k which is 1/5th of what they should have paid last year if they wanted him (miserable b******s).

Polworth is our attacking option these days and £50k would give us an extra player next year

    .                             Horner.  Meekings.  Mackay.  Tremarco

    .                                                    Draper

    .                                  Tansey.                      Vigurs

    .                                         King.          Doumbouya

Esson,Sutherland ,Gilchrist , Mulrahney and anyone who fancies a game!

The club currently pay rent to Tullochs for the stands... Whatever that equates to I have no idea, but my guess would be a few thousand a month. That will now not be the case

Hopefully we will be told at the AGM

surely the Council will assign the ground lease to the club and with a bit of luck at a peppercorn rent!

Anyone who doesn't vote 'terrible' for Clancy needs their head examined IMO.  Inconsistent, weak and often wrong.

    Agreed

i have just read 2 Sunday papers and both their reports refer to either poor or peculiar refereeing decisions against ICT . Whilst not suggesting we were better than Aberdeen at least a level playing field by the referees would be good .

  6. I thought Polworth had a good 25 mins and he at least tracked back when he lost the ball which is more than can be said for Vigurs who we all know is lazy but has the ability to turn a game which is why he retains his starting slot .

Everyone sees things differently I suppose!

  7. Of the front 5 would be target men we have in the squad Dumbo is the worst. He has no pace, unable to control a ball, cannot win anything in the air , unable to use his size and doesn't know where the goal is. Unfortunately his goal will mean he starts on Wednesday ,

offload  3 and spend the wages on 1 decent front man

Dallas wasn't the referee yesterday, it was Nick Walsh.

His refereeing ability made him look like Dallas . The best referees we had was when they went on strike and the SFA drafted in foreign  refs at least they had no pre conceived ideas of which team should win - not that I am suggesting Walsh was bias he was just a poor referee!

Depends on extent of damage. If snapped then he's finished. If, as I suspect, its a tear of sheath then it depends on length of tear and success of surgery to pull it all back together. Until someone comes forward and states the extent of damage then I wouldn't right him off just yet

Even if it is wired it is 3 months to heal and 6 months rehab then get match fit . Regretfully we need josh for Saturday and doubt he is ready . However suspect Kevin was not the first choice CB's . We have full back cover but not of Kevin's experience

For the umpeenth season in a row we are left in mid August scratching around looking for new players whilst every other team has completed their business. No wonder so many people chose not to attend yesterday when we are once again at the tale end in more ways than one. Yesterday was my first sight of the 4 new guys. I certainly didn't see anything to excite me about any of them.

Are we looking for new players ?

if we were able to sign the completed player we would need to blow apart our much heralded budget limitations.

    However consider

Mulrahney probably quickest player in Spfl albeit we need to give him the right delivery to allow him make use of his pace.

Macnaughton one of the best readers of a game we have seen at Inverness ( regretfully now by all accounts injured)

Billy King has ability to skin players ,cross a ball and also score goals you obviously have only judged him on this game

jury out with Boden but at least he is streaks ahead of Hughes offerings

newly formed teams generally take a little while to blend so happy to give "potential"a chance

the requirements by the council to improve access for 1000 vehicles at once would be laughable

How right you are , look what a public body did to the roundabout at the current stadium and then refused to admit they c****d up!

    back of envelope maths:

looking at the avg attendance being about 3k, i would assume ST holders to number about 1500...? Just a stab in the dark.

Assuming that every other person at the game yesterday was a paying adult sitting in either the North or South Stands...

    4200 - 1500 = 2700 x £25ea = £67,500 in ticket sales

If the ticket prices were reduced, there is very little increase in attendance, but we'll say the prices were cut to what, £20...

    2700 x £20 = £54,000 the difference being £13,500

To make up this difference, the attendance would need to increase by £13,500 / £20 = 675 people, just to return the same through-the-gates income as the club would have received yesterday.

That's an additional 25% of those that turned up, making a total attendance of 4875.

Obviously, the more you cut the prices, the more people need to turn up... if the prices were cut to £18 for example, you would need 1050 additional people attending to make the difference.  These aren't massive numbers but as a %age of our normal attendance, it's a lot of people. And i really don't think a fiver is making that much of a difference to a thousand people...

It wasn't the home support that lowered the attendance!!!

club have no control of away supporters and I understand the ticket price was discussed between the 2 chairmen

I wish the Citadel was still open as it was a real window into old Inverness.

Wonder when, if ever, that all stakeholders agree that the stadium is in a crap location and for the wider benefit of Inverness should be moved to the Bught?

Agree entirely but since the club neither owns the stadium or the land on which it sits where are the club getting the £10 million it would take to build the facility.we are now suffering from errors made in haste years ago!

  14. Not sure why drapes was left out last Saturday but I seem to recall that plastic pitches are not to Drapes liking so that might have influenced the selection v Alloa. However if Drapes is left out on Saturday and Mulrahney starts I will question Richie's judgement . Learn by your mistakes and I am sure he will.

Aye, but if we have an injury crisis like last season,  no defensive cover whatsoever?????

Do what Heart of Midlothian did and declare a virus and get Spfl approval to postpone games until we can field a team until it goes away!!!!!!!

seriously we would need to sign temporary cover albeit the players may not be of the same quality but if you look at the cup winning season 18 players will be more than enough.

  16. Was it my imagination (or wishful thinking) that there were 2 new pre contract signings to be announced . If it was PCA' s why have we to wait until their contracts expire before we announce who they are.

Is Fisher signed? Are the PCA' s Billy Mackay and Ed Ofere - more questions than answers so  roll on 1 st of July when traditionally the English contracts terminate unlike Scotland which is end of May

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm fairly certain we approached Alloa to speak to Paul Hartley at the time.

Think he applied and was on a short leet of 4 . Doubt you would ask to speak to another clubs manager then put him on a short leet . However perhaps you had some inside information only you will know .

I don't see the harm in at least looking at Latapy as manager. Ask the senior players and other coaches.

And he's very eager for the opportunity. We might discover a gem. Who knows. Him and Foran as a team even. (As I don't think Foran has the sufficient badges yet anyway.)

Think he has enough to legally manage but doubt he has all his badges but then again seem to recall neither did TB.
