It excites me so much. I feel i want this tie more than the Cup final. (Publicity wise) Safe to say we wont get this chance again to play a Premier league side in a competitive match. Thought we were the better team. We played well but just couldn't finish in the box. I thought Roberts should have started so we could have that extra bit of goal threat. Astra really didn't threaten our goal that much so it was disappointing to lose from a free kick with what would have been a goal less draw. Very frustrating to lose the way we did

Are we going to get the checkbook out anytime soon? I'm not the chairman but i would hazard a guess that with all of our recent success our club has probably never been better financially. Every other club is making signings except us.

It is getting a bit silly now. So many of our players get pinched only to end up on the bench. (Mckay the most recent example) Can we really blame the club though? I'd imagine (and hope) if the finances were available we could offer better deals to players like Watkins and Shinnie. But the only way we will ever truly progress is if attendances increase. Any players we lose i blame solely on the gloryhunting scum that live here supporting Rangers and Celtic. Its an absolute travesty that a city with a population of 80,000 and growing gets an average of 3,000 per game. On par with Falkirk and County. Just something to keep in mind if he does go. Don't blame the club or the chairman. Blame the people who can't be bothered to get up of there arse and through the turnstiles

Thoughts on this? The game is pretty much irrelevant and i am hoping Hughes realizes this and puts the subs in the starting 11 and rest all the vital players. We can't afford any injuries or red cards. And knowing the antics of players like Brown they will be out to try and get some revenge. I'd even take Esson off. Letting in 5 or 6 goals won't be good for his confidence. Its important we rest all our vital players

I have a strong feeling if the tables were turned and it was a Celtic player that handballed there would be no letters sent and not nearly enough outrage. The compliance officer certainly wouldn't have gotten involved

Felt absolutely gutted for Brill. Only 15 minutes into his first game back and then stretchered off again. Very sad and he must be feeling terrible about it. Any guesses as to how long he will be out for? Can only hope it doesn't harm is career as he is such a great player for us
