  1. Against my better judgement wrapping up and heading down to this, if its another dreary 0-0 at HT I'm going home, too cold for that ****

I feel this is the game where we have to start the turnaround, county will gubb Falkirk tonight and if we draw again we go 9 points behind with the penultimate game on Saturday. Mathematically it's far from over then, but I'd say realistically it will be

Team - Ridgers, Rooney, Tremarco, McKay, Donaldson, Welsh, Walsh, Chalmers, Polworth, Doran, White.

    Score : 0-0

My crystal ball tells me that is how it will be.

You read it here first folks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lol, could almost write the match report now!

I really am struggling to build enthusiasm to go to this, however i am planning waiting to see the lineup before I leave the house and if it is exactly that I will be back on the couch again ?

  3. I'm worried about this one, I really hope I am wrong obviously, but I think this is where that unbeaten run comes to an end. Neilson will have them playing his way already. Always feel we come off the back of a break looking sluggish too, again I hope I am totally wrong

Groundsmen please stop watering the pitch before the game everyone keeps loosing grip, slipping etc.

The crazy thing is, it didn't even need watered after the rain on Friday, why do they then feel the need to put the sprinklers on before the game and at ht especially how long they were on for. You could clearly see both teams were struggling for grip on those areas

  5. Yeh we must be sharper to change things when they're not working, same with Calder need to either get him on earlier or give him a start. It frustrates the hell out of me when I see our opposition make at least 2 changes before we even consider making one. Mackay is an impact player, but I'd prefer to see him start a game again and let him bang in a couple of goals and then take him off for white.

The first misplaced pass yesterday was met with a chorus of groans, whistles and boos. There wasn't a single effort to get behind the team at all yesterday from the home support. Granted there wasn't much to get excited about but away from home the supporters are lifting the players from kick off and it helps them a lot.

To be fair though, once we actually started looking like threatening and I use that term loosely, the crowd started to wake up and react. It was a horrid cold day and nobody can expect massive enthusiasm in that scenario, however all it would have taken, and generally takes is a decent bit of passing, movement and even a shot on target or an inkling that there may be a goal threat looming. I, along with most I feel could see this game for what it was going to be, within the first 5-10 minutes and you could sense the abject misery and disinterest kicking in then. All it would have taken was a spark of clever movement, a chink of quality or a shot at Martin and the support would have been knocked into life again. It was only when Calder and mckay came on that the volume rose and we actually made any noise.... It was that quiet at times I could clearly hear the away fans rattles at the other end of the main stand

There were few positives yesterday and I am sure they are struggling to get a few minutes of highlights.

The only highlight I can remember was laughing at the sprinkler at HT blowing back into the main stand and giving everyone behind it a shower..... Apart from that, emm the drive home?

    This!!

I was beginning to think it was just me? I would like to see Calder given a chance.

    Calders not a striker.

Given our distinct lack of options RE strikers, White is proving to be pretty static... Oakley is out for the foreseeable and Daniel is too young and unlikely to start or last 90 mins. So again it begs the question, if not Austin... Who do we use?

I think White is useless and would rather see Mackay get a start.

I had thought he was starting to show promise but today he was utter pump, I'd far rather see Austin start as sole striker with Daniel coming on a lot sooner than he seems to

Ok. Maybe see him next Sunday then.

I have my doubts we'll ever see him on the pitch, he's probably not even contracted to us and was just a rouse to make the mulraney move look better, pretty sure I seen a life-size cardboard cut out of him in the shop.

Some players fit certain teams Miles and us wer like Posh and Becks don't judge the great man in the colours of the ***** thistle!

Storey was only good for us at that point as we literally had zero other players who knew where the goal was. He was decent at first but very quickly I felt his enthusiasm and quality drained away, and he looked disinterested and lazy. I did like him as a player, at the time and I felt another club might get the best out of him but that's a few that's tried and ultimately failed. Wouldn't have him back for free now

In regard to the penalty, looking at the highlights was the "so called foul" in the box?

To me it was, at worst, on the line... But looks far more likely it was just outside. Terrible decision, luckily it didn't come back to haunt us
