Just so everyone is aware, there is a mis-print on the letter with the season tickets. The address to register your card is https://ictfc.tickethour.co.uk not the address printer on the back of the letter.

I could be wrong here but I don't think that is a link to activate the actual card, that's been done already. The link is simply to activate your online account so you can order tickets for cup games early etc so unless you can't buy at the club it's not really necessary

I'd love it to happen, especially for the benefit of our younger players.  If Chipper leaves (and I think he'll jump at the chance and the club will grab at the compo) then his replacement is likely to be someone else who's been here before, but who wouldn't have to relocate.

It's certainly a big chance for Rice, and a change of scene. Does DP live locally CaleyD? I know he's from Fort William initially isn't he

Delighted to get Mcart a proper top prospect! Dunno much about the striker his stats for Barrow are brutal something like 8 goals in43 games usualstats for a striker we sign fingers crossed he's a good un

McCart a real bonus signing. I thought he was a real potential for the short time he was here under Foran. He could be a massive player for us and a real sell on profit for the club. Likes of White, jury's out... But then right now as far as striking options I'm more than confident with Oakley Austin and Mckay. White could be a Kris Boyd style right place right time snatcher

Has there been anything released when the tickets will be sent out?

I was in the shop the other day and the girl was saying they've got the cards now but need to get them activated etc and sent out. Estimated end of June start of July

There is no room for sentimentality on this. Would Warren be a first choice pick for me next season, no he would not. If he is happy to be a squad player then fine as the club is not forcing him out as he will still be paid and used if he does not find another club. The ball is therefore in Warren's court as to what he wants to do. I agree with Doofers Dad that he has not been the same since his leg break and he has not been the same player since then. I also think the loss of Josh Meekings has highlighted how good a partnership they were as separately, they have not been as good players. I would also dispute that Warren is a good captain, I don't think he is and that shows on the field. Vigurs was a better captain in my opinion and with him gone, I would make Tremarco captain.

    Completely agree with all that

Can you tell us more ocg? I did hear that David Sutherland has put money in since leaving the board but are there others?

She's probably referring to the "wondrous" Kenny Cameron, who pops in and buys a programme now and again

Cut throAt this division if you can get someone in who'll likely get your more goals on a similar wage do it Bell had plenty chances to prove his worth i don't think he done enough tbh how long do you give someone? Same goes for Trafford I'd have Osman Lawless or Tansey again over him but he's on a longer contract ain't he!

Tansey? Osman? Storey? Do you just like the idea of a team full of expensive, unfit has beens? Trafford was a great player for us when he had to step in, and could contribute so much more this season. Storey was good when he was here, but only relative to the utter nonentities that we had upfront prior to him arriving. He was the type of player that very quickly settled into the lifestyle and started to show less and less interest and willingness to win the ball. What makes you think he'd be any better the 2nd time around? Same with Tansey, he goes to Aberdeen.... Gets nowhere, achieves very little, is not match fit and is now unsurprisingly surplus to requirement. So what, we pay what would be a fortune to us to take him back here so he can try and recapture some of his previous form. Would the drive be there, no..... Would the enthusiasm be there, no.... Would it be value for money, no. I'm quite excited at the current squad we've got, and think robbo and his coaches will get the best out of them starting with a good preseason

Every thread I seem to read has two individuals locked into a battle of one-up-manship with each other. They attack each other, and others, who dare to speak out against their view points and comments. Attacks come in the form of carefully cloaked and worded exchanges - with neither actually coming out of things particularly well. If said individuals put as much effort into supporting the club, not attacking each other, the board, the club, the players, other members etc then I would imagine that the club would be much better for it, and this forum would be much more bearable for all who wish to catch up on the latest coming and goings. Gents, may I suggest you meet up behind the bike sheds to resolve your petty squabbles and perhaps leave the forum to postive exchanges based around the good of the club and not the good of yourselves.

Well said... It's true were all here for the good of our club and we all have one common aim, to see our team do well. As much as we all have differing opinions on certain aspects of the club we need to stick together and fight together not against each other otherwise what are we fighting for

I no that credit where credits due but ffs some of the drivel we were served up at the start of the season was unreal I'd have improved the team let alone a class act like mutumbo!

I genuinely liked Mutumbo when he was here also, but "Class act" might be over exaggerating his ability somewhat,

    Penny wise, Pound foolish.

Aldi is value for money and sufficient. Well run and has a solid financial base. A shop for the people.

M&S is pretentitious, snobby and thinks it's 'it'. Financially secure? Mmmmm? A shop being run on false pretences?

I know where I'd rather go.

Completely agree, for the club to compete with the offer County have given Vigurs, wed effectively have nothing left to sign anyone else. We cannot compete with the level of finance that county have especially at this point in time. The Championship, as we've all realised is a different beast completely and the type of player that flourishes in it, is the young hungry enthusiastic and most importantly cheap players, who are fighting for their recognition. PL stalwarts like Vigurs, still want to play the slow paced tactical ball retention play, whereas teams like STM and Livi were displaying early on, just how quickly they could break from a mislaid ball and quickly get up the park and score. I don't want this to sound like sour grapes, I liked Vigurs too and would really have preferred him to stay, but it is what it is, he's made his decision, the club were powerless to stop him, its what he wanted and even if they had offered him more or somehow got him to stay, we'd effectively end up with the same situation we got from Tansey after his initial move to Aberdeen was blocked. Is that really what anyone would want?
