  1. Put things into a proper perspective......Rory has had 11 starts and scored 4 goals. The majority of his sub appearances have been for ten mins or less. Not enough time to even warm up. Dennis Wyness, since his return fom Hearts, has had 43 starts and scored 15. Seems to me that the ratio is about the same but nobody is slating Wyness. Why? Because a lot of the people who post cant see past the success's of the lower leagues.
  2. I was thinking more of a bit of coaching.

  4. Maybe the presence of Marius will have a positive effect on Rory
  5. The Docks..........home port of HMS Sneck
  6. Gary played full 90 mins in Montrose defeat of Stranraer last night in CIS cup. Reports are that he had an excellent game and even came near to scoring. If we were to meet Montrose in later round would CC prevent Woody from playing?
  7. Isn't that why the squad do stamina training, both on the field and in the gym / pool
  8. With luck Grampian news will feature Marius on the steps of Hampden........A dress rehearsal for standing there with the Scottish cup in his hands.
  9. Ok so, I think there are 17 in a squad and three are U21, you need to drop one of your 'team' to fit in Ridgers + 2 U-21's :blah01: :blah01:
  10. Rossco makes some good plays down the wing when Barry is there to overlap with. The only problem at the moment is that Caff is still trying to gain confidence and is therefore not as quick as Dods was at filling in on the right. When we get back to an attack minded passing game all will come good. TM4TJ and SMEE, you dont have the regulatory 3 U-21's in your squads.
  11. To those who are interested Marius will wear squad number 18
  12. On saturday we only had two fit strikers available. Rory will be needed in the reserves this season and I expect he will be on the bench from time to time but with Marius, Deano, Bayney, Denzil all available I can only see him as fifth choice from now on.
  13. Sadly not. Engagement party.
  14. Not sure if Bayne is fully fit yet.
  15. Scotty I think this thread should disappear into the archives now.
  16. Niculae will start.
  17. Thanks also to Ray Stewart, Pat Nevin, Ray Cormack and Fraser Wishart for seeing sense and puting Highland football in a stronger footing :clapping03: :021:
  18. Gramian news. Permit granted with immediate effect
  19. Sorry Birdog but this appeal is final. If it fails then he cannot re-apply for twelve months. There is no other avenue after today.
  20. Rangers have not complained as yet. Beasley has though. The UEFA reps also complained and are now awaiting the official report from the match before deciding on action.
  21. Woud that be x rated pics :015:
  22. Why we dont need him: WHY KEEPING MOMO WAS A NO-NO SPL LATEST Boss Jeff had to get rid of bad boy Sylla or risk Killie rebellion By Michael Baillie JIM JEFFERIES last night admitted he had to boot rebel Momo Sylla out of Rugby Park before he risked losing credibility with his other players at Kilmarnock. Former Celt Sylla is in the process of negotiating his release from Killie after several breaches of club discipline. The 30-year-old Guinean was repeatedly pulled up by boss Jefferies for his time keeping and failure to pull his weight during pre-season and was eventually fined for his conduct. But Jefferies finally had enough last week and at a meeting with the player, who only joined the club in January from Leicester City, it was agreed Sylla should move on. Jefferies insists he can't afford to allow any of his squad preferential treatment as the key to Killie's recent success has been their unity. He said: "There are
