  1. Cheers for clearing that up. By the way, Fort have strung a team together, and have been favourites for bottom spot, since they came into the HL some fifteen years ago.
  2. It means ACE Security will not be operating at TCS in the forseeable future and Rock Steady dont want him. ah!ah!ah!
  3. Dont know the full team but it was mainly youth's. Caley scorers were Penwright and Inglis. In goal was Watt and other players mentioned in the MFR report were Vigurs, Alex MacDonald and Morrison. To all intents Fort, after coming back from 2-0 down, had the better chances to finish of the game but just couldn't find the net. I assume the replay will also be at Fort as this game shoud have been at Tulloch's but we gave up home advantage to allow drainage work on the pitch.
  4. The fact is that Hibs had the foresight, in the late eighties, early nineties, to see that teams could not continue to sustain the infux of foriegn players and so set up one of the countries best youth policies. They are now the envy of every other team because talented players are now appearing with conveyor belt regularity. Their new training facilities will enhance that no end and for years to come Hibs will reap the benifits of their player factory.
  5. And who's going to buy them?
  6. Obviously not a label freak then TCF. Mantis, did you know that they also own 'Taylormade' golf stuff and Reebok

  8. Wilson, Wyness, Rankin. Though in fairness what CC said was that these were the players he expected to control the game. Quote courtesy of Inverness Courier: Christie conceded that the likes of Barry Wilson, John Rankin and Dennis Wyness did not have their "best games" against Rangers, but did not rule out giving individuals who disappointed the chance to redeem themselves, admitting he would spend this week mulling over any changes before making a final decision on who will play at Fir Park. "I am thinking about making changes in particular areas, but I'll have to wait and see what options I have as we have two or three players carrying knocks," he said. "Obviously, I'll need to see how training goes this week and I'm certainly not going to jump the gun in terms of making any decisions now. "When you are playing a team like Rangers you need someone to take the game by the scruff of the neck, but the players I expected that from on Saturday, the likes of Barry Wilson, John Rankin and Dennis Wyness, did not have their best games. "In saying that, however, you also have to give players a chance to redeem themselves because everyone can have a bad day and what everyone must remember is we were playing a much improved Rangers team. "What was also apparent from Saturday was how much we missed Graham Bayne as he has been a real thorn in Rangers side ever since we came into the SPL. "Graham will chase lost causes all day for you, but both Rory McAllister and Dennis Wyness are not comfortable with doing that.
  9. Had a look at whats available down south on PFA website and to be honest there ain't a lot of central defenders looking for work. Of the 41 listed as on transfer list about half are lightweights and the remainder under 20 or over 33. Most are from the London area so likely wouldn't come this far north anyway. Truth is there are no players available.
  10. Sebo doesn't need a permit as Slovakia, who joined the EU in 2004 along with Poland etc, is exempt from the latest UK immigration rules
  11. I'd have thought the three stripes would be a dead giveaway TCF
  12. Dont think he's actually signed with Peterhead. Went there in january on six month contract. So far as I know he is unattached now. Should we even be debating him considering he wasn't good enough for a first team slot in Div 1 last season.
  13. There's no way that Mrs Mann will alow it.
  14. The SPL has a fair few defenders who use similar tactics. A certain Mr Robson is not so squeeky clean.
  15. Was browsing some of the comments on the Marius petition and found the following comment: fuk niculae..dunno y he wood want to *** to a ***** club like caley..better of supporting the rangers..THERS ONLY 1 ROSS TOKELY HAHAHA..0-3 EASY EASY EASY The mentallity of some people is beyond me. This guy doesn't seem to have realised that by posting the message he is actually supporting the petition.
  16. Scotland and any team playing against England. Fort William Shinty Club Montrose U-11 Boys
  17. You need to get out more ken
  18. Four points!!! I hope to **** we have six. In fact I'll be looking for twelve before we face Celtic
  19. Fraser Tokely Caff Munro Hastings Wilson Hart Black Rankin Bayne Niculae Subs: Ridgers Duff A. MacDonald Duncan Sutherland D. MacDonald
  20. Ten players in our team just never turned up today
  21. Gary Wood only arrived at Montrose on thursday so didn't make the starting lineup. From what I here from my contacts in that quarter is that the lad impressed and will feature more as the season goes on. He is there because he will get consistant first team football and will learn a great deal in the process. Gary is one of CC's prodige's and is very much in the future plans of ICT if he shows what he's capable of at Montrose.
  22. My interpretation of CC's comments are that one, or maybe two, player(s) are not too happy with their first team involvement and may have requested permission to look elsewhere. CC does not want to let anyone go because he needs cover for the additional reserve games that will be played but if a player is unhappy, and can find a first team position elsewhere, he will be released from his contract. CC said in the press that he likened the situation to that of Fox. Liam wanted consistant first team selection but it wasn't happening so he asked for a move.
  23. And when friday came you didnt even turn up :003: Sti, we had a very nice night in the company of the PB's and L_G, joined later by Maime and her friends from Aberfoyle ICT, with entertainment provided by Gaberlunzie. And, once again, congratulations to PaulieBee in securing a new job. :clapping03:
  24. How about we drop Inverness and Caledonian and just be THISTLE. :blah01: Seriously though, we are and always will be the CALEY JAGS.
  25. First point. Rangers FC will have to answer to the SFA after the refs report and police report are submitted. CCTV images will likely be forwarded to Rangers with the expectation that they take action against the perpretators. Rangers sold all tickets for the south stand so they know who they sold them to and video footage will show them the seats the perpretators were in. If no action is taken by Rangers then I expect sanctions be placed on the club. Secondly, as someone who is totally nuetral to the history of the OF, I do not want, nor expect, to have to listen to songs that have nothing to do with football but in fact glorify the killing of human beings on the grounds of the religion they were born into. And I especially object to those songs being sung at the ground of a club that has absolutely no history of religious bias.
