Fact: There is a very wide and varied collection of music out there. Fact: You will always find people who think their musical taste is the best. Fact: People will always argue about what is or isnt good. Truth is there shouldnt be arguement because no two people have the same tastes. Even within their own preffered genre there will be likes and dislikes. And, as for musical training, whats that got to do with anything? It certainly doesnt give anyone the right to criticise anothers taste in music. Personally, I can listen to almost anything though my preference is for celtic and South American traditional folk music. Others may not like it but that does not make it sh!te. And I can still put my hand on a 12 incher when the urge takes me.

Bucket, I dont get to many home games so I dont buy a season ticket. To alleviate the guilt I sponsor a player. Cost works out a little more than the season ticket but I do get a top at the end of season. This sponsorship is, in effect, paying for the players kit for the season thus releasing money for other things.

Is this venue a glorified pub or a concert hall. The Highlands badly need a good concert venue that has a 2 - 3 thousand capacity and caters for all tastes. Eden Court can serve a purpose but is more a venue for the thespian arts. Marty and Mee, I think you both should call a truce here. Marty is right in that there are probably a lot of metal fans but Mee is also right in saying that most of them would not spend their cash on tribute bands.

Perhaps our goal scoring wizard will come from the pool of midfielders this season. It does look like CC is building a more attacking midfield.

For what its worth I have seen the Corries a few times including the early days when they were a threesome. Another good folk duo who have been around for a few years are Gaberlunzie. Then theres the McCalmans and Capercaille both of whom have their own style of folk. And dont forget the Battlefield Band. Scotland has an abundance of excellent folk bands. Hamish said: I'll book System Of A Down for you and get some decent music up in the Highlands for the first time ever probably! I ask, what is decent music? What I like is what is decent to me, doesn't mean others think the same. Music, like any art form, provides different appeals to different people. Because I dont like something does not make it cr*p. Marty, Barry's a striker though he's been playing a midfield role the last two seasons. Also isn't Zander also a front man. natn, we need all those extra midfielders to cover for CC's new attacking 3-5-2 formation. :003:

Marty, we already have six or seven strikers. What we need is players who can attack and defend from the midfield and who can hold up the ball and feed it to the strikers. As for squad size, yes its bigger that CC envisaged but I can see one or two of the younger lads going out on loan for a spell to gain some experience. Possibly Highland league.

I own a black and gold Celtic top, but then I also have six ICT tops.

The licencing laws in Scotland allow children into bars that have either a family licence, i.e they have an area seperate from the main bar and they have toilet facilities etc suitable for children, or a food licence where the children can come in for a meal with adults. As far as the Innes is concerned the licence allows the serving of food monday to friday. Colin doesn't want a food licence at weekends because the bar is usually too busy with football fans. Technically children are not allowed in on a saturday but Colin and Scooby turn a blind eye, pre-match, for most of the games. For the bigger games, i.e Aberdeen, Rangers and Celtic the police stipulate what is required as part of their crowd control plans. They demand doorpersons, no mixed fans and no colours to be displayed in the bars. Colin doesn't allow children on these days because the police could pay a visit to ensure he's abiding by their rules. Hope that makes the situation clear for all.

I think its because of Brown that our defensive record is as it is. Over the latter part of last season he has become more vocal in controlling his defense and he has pulled of some cracking saves. At the very least Mark should be Scotland No 2 if they insist on Gordon for No 1.

Sorry people, cant make the 29th. A weekend of alcohol, song, dance and craic beckons on the banks of Loch Lomond. (Lomond Folk Festival) Will see some of you the weekend before though.
