  1. Cortina 1600E Reg BAL 117H. Colour: Saluki Bronze. Pride and joy till it failed to negotiate a bend. FW is your man Ian Grant? He looks about sixty in the squad pics. lol.
  2. This 'rigger' has a higher national in chemical engineering. With the health service in such a state and a national shortage of personnel, wher does a nurse find the time to do so much surfing on this subject anyway :016:
  3. Methyl tert-butyl ether is a highly flammable chemical that has been used, since the ban on lead, as an octane booster in petrol. The quantities used are very small so for IHE's aquifer to be contaminated in high concentrations then one **** of a lot of petrol must have been dumped in the area.
  4. Michael is 22. I'd be very surprised if we were to get rid of him. He's the only cover we have for Brown so to offload him would mean bringing someone else in.
  5. Who anyone supports is their own choice and own business. I'm Scottish so I could support the team with 8 scottish based players. I'm British so I could support a team from the British Commonwealth. I'm European so I have an even greater choice. I'm a citizen of the world so I've increased my choice even further. What a dillemma. As to racism, who is the racist? Jack MacConnell for saying he wont support England in the world cup or the english reporter who asked the question in the first place?
  6. Could the end of season supporters do be organised for 22nd july after we play County.
  7. A pull along train made by my uncle from Ostermilk tins.
  8. Richard Baker, Robert Dougall, Angela Rippon, Richard Whitmore, Fiona Bruce, Jill Dando, Huw Edwards, Michael Burke, Moira Stewart, Sue Lawley, Trevor MacDonald, Selina Scott, Gordon Honeycombe, Martin Lewis, Julia Somerville,
  9. What you saying johnboy...........she's black and built like a tonka truck!!!!!!!!
  10. I travel all over the country and can never find a good chippy. The one across from the Tarry Isle isnt too bad. Theres one on the hill in Cullen that is probably the best I've found in recent times. Perth chippies are all run by Chinese people who dont know how to fry. I think modern oils and hygiene are the problems. The food shouldbe cooked in dripping and wrapped in three week old newspaper for ultimate flavour.
  11. Aberdeen prices are £270 Richard Donald wings and lower front. £365 for RD centre, £365 for main £270 South and £230 Merkland (family section) making average adult price £300 We are £330 main, £280 north £200 family making average adult price £270. Our pricing is actually better value than most other SPL teams. Celtic Rangers Hearts Hibs DU and Killie are all dearer than us. I do agree, however, that our child / concession 'pay at the gate' prices are ridiculess.
  12. Guzz, my tenner should now be in your account. Cheers
  13. This club will progress no matter who the manager. Nobody has ever come in and made sweeping changes. They've all brought a little bit of something but its the players who have responded. Pele brought an attack minded set up. Robbo added a defense to that. Brew brought a fitness aspect and got the squad bonding more by having them together for lunch each training day. He also gave them some Greek ideas on diet. CC will bring his style into it but he wont undo what has been built up thus far. I spoke to Barry a while back and he reckoned that if he hadn't had the proverbial kick in the pants about his weight and fitness he would likely be looking at ending his playing career pretty soon. As it was he took on board what Brew had said to him, he shed a few pounds and now works hard on staying fit. He reckons theres no reason why he cant now go on for a couple or three more years. Managers come and managers go as do players but its ICT who make success and will continue to do so.
  14. I think both Dennis and Dargs showed more promise when Blackie was feeding them. When he got injured, Dennis, for one, didnt seem to get fed the right ball. I'm sure, now that his future is secure, he will want to win everything.
  15. Considering a couple of the mentioned players are on holiday, and unless they've come back specially to sign, then I reckon benchy is talking out his erse.
  16. Golly is, and has been, club captain for past two seasons. Presumably his contract reflects this position. I would be very surprised if the position was taken from him unless he was being shown the door and I doubt that to be the case. Dods was stand in on the field but Golly was always the Club captain. I think if a stand in was required then Barry would be my choice. He is the one player who is very vocal on the park, he encourages his team mates and shows excellent leadership potential.
  17. Curious to know where Tichy's info comes from cos Uefa site hasn't been update to reflect this.
  18. I cant for the life of me understand the mentality of players. Theres unrest because Brew wants extra training sessions. Sounds like such a terrible thing. What are extra sessions? Instead of 90 minutes each day he wants them to do 90 mins footie training in the morning, have a collective lunch, then do 90 mins fitness training in the afternoon. In other words he wants then to work for a total of 16 and half hours a week for an average of £1650 a week. He wants them to earn £100 an hour instead of £200. Statisticians would say that was a 50% wage cut. And before anyone bites of my head the figures came from the top of it and the whole comment is just my cynicism though the hours of training are true.
  19. Doesn't the scorers from last years Denmark trip count? If yes then: Fox v Nykobing Proctor v FC Nordsjaelland Wilson, Hart, Bayne, Hislop, Prunty and MacAllister v Hornbaek
  20. My answers are: 1. Alex 2. Match 3. White 4. Both 5. 12 6. 1 7. They are Grandfather, father and son 8. Aint no feckin stirs Aren't I brilliant.
  21. McAllister and Wyness would be the ones most likely though we have an abundance of players who have scored this season.
  22. I dont know if our kids prices are any different to other clubs so cant comment there. However, though I agree with promoting the club to the young ones, a balance has to be struck that will increase revenue. Its ok saying let the kids in at knock down prices or even free but every seat a child occupies is a potential adult fee. What we need is a balance that will increase both adult and child support. One of the things that would help is to make the game more entertaining. Pre match and half time activities, perhaps a pipe band, competitions etc. Make the game a worthwhile family day out.
