  1. I 100% agree regarding the inept coaching staff, though I still say it's harsh to criticise Scott Kellacher as he's not long back. But I'd take it a step further get EVERY SINGLE senior player DROPPED then released and build the team around the youngsters, I've said all along that they ARE capable and tbh, they can't be any worse than the biggest shower of DUDS we have EVER had!! I've had just about enough now, it's the same every ******* week, no wonder I have started watching Rugby more this past year!!! Ps mods, sorry for the language but it's understandable, no?
  2. If results don't improve and change isn't made then the attendances will be virtually nil as nobody will want to watch that drivel week in week out so its a decision that will need to be made All we can hope for is a change in form so the above questions don't become as relevant as they do just now.
  3. As I said above, one thing I cannot criticise the club for is overspending so that is certainly a positive and tbh, they'll save more money if we start winning or get promoted. I like the Dundee U approach of sell players when offered money by clubs and get in quality replacements instead of getting 2/3 duds off of the one wage saved by that sold player so basically quality over quantity, then promote as many of the youngsters as possible. As for your point in manager sackings Scott, does "mutually terminated" mean sacking or that both a chairman and manager agree to resignation? The reason i ask is because I've heard that mentioned a few times and just assumed that it meant that the said manager agreed to resign.
  4. Are you for real!!!??? His record of late is simply abysmal so of course he deserves the sack and tbh, at most clubs he would be but for some reason we back inept managers for too long instead of having the guts to sack them. That money excuse doesn't wash with me and other fellow fans, if it needs done then its a cost that is necessary. It would be better if the guy resigned but hes too stubborn to even do that! Besides, money should not be a worry for him as he will be loaded, surely the bbc payed him quite a bit. As for an "expensive replacement" , it doesn't need to be, we could easily appoint a manager making his debut as a manager so again, I don't buy the "where does the money come from?" Pish that gets spouted . Anyway, I'm not going to fall out with posters lol as I'm trying to stay on the mods and posters good side :).
  5. In reply to the first question of the title, I'd say no, a big clear out is not required, here is my take on the situation. Ross Morrison and Scot Gardiner have done nothing wrong to warrant all this criticism, apart from the fact that they are not communicating with us the fans. Other than that, they go about their business quietly and also don't overspend which is one thing I like about us as a club. John Robertson is one I would say needs to go because he isn't needed imho plus he must want to get back into management now that he is over his personal issues of last season. Besides we haven't had a DoF since Craig Brewster Mark 2, the responsibilities in that job should be split between RM and SG and in terms of identifying signings, that's the managers job, though I prefer the trial games that we have had in the past. BD: I have made my thoughts clear on him and very loudly on FB and twitter etc but it is clear he has to go so SG and RM are failing us by not listening to us regarding his position, we can't afford to keep him until the end of the season, especially if we are going to get into the play offs! Also, his dealings in the transfer market is nothing short of appalling, why the hell sign so many attacking players that aren't needed when it was clear that it was the defence that needed strengthening. His after match interviews usually anger fans too as he comes out with utter drivel which is an insult to us, especially the one on Saturday where he says that a run is close, yet the fans know that one is slipping further away! SK and BW would then need to go imho as it would be unfair on a new manager to have to have them as assistant and first team manager, however, I don't believe either have done anything wrong to warrant being replaced, especially Scott who is just back from illness earlier this season. I do also agree with one poster (I think on the next manager thread) though when they say that certain players need to take a portion of the blame for this run of form, I would say a clear out is needed in the summer if that is at all needed. I have advocated for a long time now that the youngsters deserve a shot because they are certainly capable otherwise they wouldn't be in a semi on Friday night!
  6. Does Tommy Wright fit the bill regarding the bit I've bolded? James McPake also an option but outside these 2 there is nobody which is a worry.
  7. Bit harsh on Barry Wilson SteveA but I actually agree but that's based on the fact that a new manager will want his own coaching team in place. I'd keep Scott Kellacher and Ryan Esson though.
  8. No, I am just being realistic about what we can afford, besides it worked well with Brewster the first time. I'd love an experienced manager but other than Tommy Wright (I'd say Kilmarnock didn't work out for him but he did well at St J) who is there In no way will Derek Adams come and tbh I wouldn't want him anyway. Jack Ross is also not coming here. Barry Robson might but then again, compo would be an issue so again this is unlikely.
  9. I swear to god, if that clown is still manager by Monday then I won't be happy, it's so evident that he has to GO RIGHT THIS MINUTE, though I'd like to hear what **** he comes out with in the interview! So predictable after his stupidity of basically saying we would win, totally underestimating Ayr.
  10. I'd take a rookie looking to get into management, such as Scott Brown or Stevie Naismith (though it won't be either of these) with an experienced assistant such as Donald Park (is he still involved in the game?). Anyway, our chairman knows our feelings because I've just messaged him on messenger demanding action and answers so hopefully he acts soon.
  11. Surely to **** this dud will be GONE by Monday, even our chairman can't be stupid enough not to act. Every single one of them owe us an apology because its just abysmal!
  12. Yep because it could be his last and rightly so because this form is nothing short of abysmal and totally ******* unacceptable!
  13. Seems like the players are still playing for the gaffer but I'm wondering if it will be enough to keep him in the job. It's important that we kick on from this and start winning games though otherwise we'll drop out top 4 on 5 pretty soon.
  14. I seen this tweet from 2 Instagram stories at the weekend (one from a fewzer Steven Donkey and our friend Caley Central)which made me curious as to the thinking of us posters on here. The question was, "if we fail to win against Morton should BD go, yes or no? Both polls came back at 60-40% in favour of he should go. So guys, what are we thinking on here :).
  15. I still expect another one or two to come in before Mondays deadline so hopefully they are centre backs. With this guy signed today I'd expect Hector-Ingram to not be getting a contract but I've not seen anything about Daniel Fox (if he was even on trial) from the Instagram story so he could well have left also, without getting a contract.
  16. So that's MacDonald, Gardyne, Jamieson and a couple of youngsters gone with only Pearson and Chalmers coming in on loan, so I'd presume we can expect more incomings, probably Jahmal Hector-Ingram Hopefully we can then get another defender or 2 before Monday's deadline, especially now that Danny is out for a while :(.
  17. Caley Central Instagram story lol.
  18. We have ex Forest left back Daniel Fox and ex West Ham under 23 Striker Jahmal Hector-Ingram on trial. Hopefully that means signings are imminent because it's ridiculous hoe after EIGHTEEN days we've signed nobody!
  19. Yes but if we sell then the chairman will be accused of lacking ambition as Robbie is key in our promotion push. Sounds like the third bid has been rejected and St J are admitting defeat on this one.
  20. I'm torn between desperately wanting to keep Deas and taking the money and letting the **** go and using the £150k to strengthen. We probably need a left back if he goes so use that money for getting one in asap. We also need a winger and preferably a striker (though thats not desperately, one be signed would be a bonus) so use Tony MacDonald, thug Gardyne wages for recruiting one or two other positions. This post could be irrelevant though if,as has been said above, the move is unlikely.
  21. I aim to please If you guys got to know me you'd realise that I have a very comedy like sense of humour and love my job which is in a childcare setting :). Seems like the twats on Pie and Bovril just think of me as an idiot that calls for managers heads after every loss, which I haven't done all season!! I am so done with that site lol.
  22. I'm screwed if you are the judge, you have a mean streak IHE :L
  23. Damn, I didn't realise I said sold when asking mods to close the thread DOH lol, I can 100% guarantee it was given away lol.
