Well after tonight it's clear that lots of players are not worthy to play for us and need sold because it's just not acceptable anymore!! Players like Sheridan, Lodovica to name just 2, these 2 are the worst strikers in all of Britain ffs, what the hell Dudds and Robertson saw in them I'll never know!! If we don't get our fingers out our arses and start signing better players and getting results then we won't be in this league next season!!

I kinda stole this idea from P and B but tbh I try and start one close to the transfer window opening so maybe they stole the idea from me . Anyway I don't think we'll see much action in this window and tbh we don't really need much, I suspect most of the Dunc rebuild will take place in the summer :). Imperative that we sign up David Wotherspoon on a longer contract as he has been very influential in our recent excellent run/turn in form. I'm not sure on 2 of our other loanees (Anderson and Boyes) so will let you guys decide or post your opinions . But on Cillian Sheridan I do think that he will be offloaded as he hasn't contributed to the team in any way which I think DF will have seen during the cup game against Cowdenbeath. In terms of what is needed, I would say a striker is imperative, preferably one that can score lots of goals though I understand they aren't easy to find, any other bits of business will be a bonus imho but in Dunc we trust .

With the news we've all been craving finally announced its time to bump this thread up! I can't find any odds on who's next but I'd like to see Ryan Esson promoted to manager but I understand that may be to risky in the perilous position we currently find ourselves in. I can see Callum Davidson being high up on the boards wishlist as he did well at St Johnstone plus he's an experienced manager which is what we need just now.

Are you Mr Outsider because he posted that Dudds is out and Callum Davidson will be appointed . I'm not sure how I'd feel about him because he's had success at St Johnstone winning 2 cups but his record last season was abysmal and he rightly got sacked. Tbh we probably couldn't get any better than his calibre now that Tommy Wright isn't available so I'd probably be happy with this appointment though we'll have to see what happens on Saturday then take it from there.

Excellent job with updates @Robert :), was there anyone the youngsters that you would say could make the step up in future ? I am still looking at moving down to Inverness in the future to pursue a career in my desired outdoor nursery at either Tornagrain or Elgin (I'm sure you guys can work out what company I'm talking about) so one day I will get down to a match :P. This is a discussion site so I thought I would start this thread to gauge fans opinions on who they would like to replace our current clown if he got the sack or resigned as I am fairly certain that the list of REALISTIC contenders wouldn't be very high. I am not happy with this situation and have been very vocal on Facebook about my opinions on the man but I would be happy if we turned our form around and the need for a replacement wasn't needed but, as most fans fear on here, that is unlikely when you consider how this manager is so inept at tactics and how to change games and even man management! I personally would like a manager like Callum Davidson or Jon Daly but realistically they aren't very likely whereas managers such as Ian McCall, Paul Sheerin, Jim McIntyre are more likely but would be a no from me apart from maybe Ian McCall. In an ideal world we won't need this thread until 2yrs time but I just like to gauge opinions and also post more on this forum so this is my way of doing both :P.

It's clear that Billy Dudds has completely lost the dressing room because we have players that ARE capable of doing ten times better than they currently are!

Mark Ridgers makes a good point in his press conference when he states that we need to make TCS a fortress again as our home form was poor last season. I would agree with the team that is posted above by @Robert and will post a potential bench which would be: Mackay (GK), Davidson (RB), Delaney (CB), Bray (CM), Hyde (CM), Brooks and (CAM/ST), Lodovica (ST) . Would you agree with that bench Robert ;)?

If you are happy with our utterly ABYSMAL league cup campaign then you must be easy to please because it was a complete JOKE of a campaign and imho totally unacceptable, to only win ONE f***ing match (amd even that was unconvincing) in a group that had Dumbarton and Bonnyrigg in it is failure of the highest standard, I accept losing to Dundee as they are a league above, and Airdrie because their now in our league and may surprise a few teams. What I am livid at though and will not tolerate is losing to a LEAGUE 2 team, no disrespect to them but I expect us to beat them even if it is a nervy win so I'm afraid that, ONCE AGAIN, Mr Dudds needs to take responsibility for this and stop coming up with crap excuses that us fans don't accept! I'm sorry if I have upset people but I expect better from the team and am not afraid to tell it as it is!

100% this but no, our incompetent owner thinks its OK to get to a cup final (which we went of early but for a few up by QP) and offers the d*** a new deal when it was clear to all of us (the fans) way before CHRISTMAS that he was out of his depth and needed sacked!! I think I'm going to give this a Tey this year but my record on predictions is dire lol so I'm not expecting to be challenging at the top of the competition roster lol. Have you guys got any tips for a newbie to this lol and where do I sign up etc or is it a case of going to the said part of the forum the week before the first game of the season :)?

I kind of understand where your coming from but he'd still be useful at least for 2 seasons and I really DON'T trust John or Billy if they were needing to replace Billy because I've seen 2 linked, one being a sectarian thug and the other a loan from Barnsley that I'd be OK (not ecstatic) with. Imho only ONE player I'd be replacing Billy with that would likely be affordable would be Marley Watkins.

I see from the P and J article about Jake Davison signing that we are interested in Marley Watkins .

Is it only me or is anyone slightly worried that Billy McKay hasn't signed a new deal yet . He has to be one of the main priorities regarding getting signed up for next season!!

The only song I want to hear next week is "we are the champions " just as Welshy is lifting the trophy ;).
