  1. Hopefully they take our clown off our hands, I'd f****** drive him there myself!! And before anyone has a go (lol), yes I'm pissed off at losing to part timers, it's utterly, utterly unacceptable!! I praise the players and management when we win so its only right that I criticise when necessary and today is that day! We NEED goalscorers in January, but the clown would know that, as he should know that the defence is a joke.
  2. I know this is aimed at me so I'm going to give credit where credit is due. It seems that the injuries hampered us more than I thought but now the guys are back (with more to return) we look a completely different team :). Kai Kennedy was sensational tonight, hopefully his loan gets extended until the end of the season. Imho, not one failure out on that pitch tonight, or in the dugout -P. Queens were dire though, they look like contenders for relegation let alone play offs, which is where Jonathan Sutherland thinks they will be looking towards. Fantastic night, hopefully Scotland do the business tomorrow to make my weekend even more fantastic
  3. To be fair, he does deserve some credit for finding gems like Allardice, Deas etc and by showing faith in youngsters like Harper, Mackay and MacGregor, but he is susceptible to the absolutely ridiculous signings to, such as Danny Devine! As I said, surely there were better CB available than him, or even one of our youngsters, at least that way we can say, "he's young so mistakes should be tolerated, but hopefully he learns from it", or words to that effect :-). What I will say is that I don't think John is a bad manager, I'm just thinking we need new direction. i do agree with you regarding being "stronger" once injured players return vut but how far behind the play offs will we be by then? Surely you peeps can understand that I want us back in with the big boys before too long otherwise I'd be happy to be mid table and happy with our current manager, so long as we didn't get relegated. I get that I'm public enemy number 1 at the minute, ive I've been putting up with that tag for years but my posts are because im I'm sick of failure to deliver when I know we're capable ;-). Hope that clears up any confusion and we can move on but I won't hold my breath hahahaha (note sarcasm lol).
  4. You can add John Robertson, Barry Wilson and Scott Kellacher to that as well!! Laugh or moan all you like lol but, I'm entitled to my opinion and that is it, its getting ridiculous how bad we defend and lose games, one win all season is just unacceptable for a team that ended 2nd last season, and don't give me pish about a new team, its basically the same team with some good, and disastrous additions! How the hell did our so called manager think Danny Devine is better than any other CB that was available!! I do, however, applaud him for finding gems like Allardice, Deas and Kennedy though ;-). Its time for a new manager imho because this one just doesn't learn from his past mistakes and can't change things when its going wrong. Its going to be a long season, one where we will be battling to stay up, which for a club like ours is totally unacceptable!! Rant over hahaha.
  5. I've just seen Robertson's after match interview on Facebook and it sounds promising regarding the injury situation. He said that James Keatings, David Carson, Shane Sutherland, Danny Devine, Aaron Doran and James Vincent are likely to get the next 2 league cup matches to increase their match fitness so, how does that leave the injury situation, would it only leave Sean Welsh or am I missing anyone else
  6. Virgil van Dijk's long term injury has me thinking, who would be the one player ICT couldn't do without for a large part of the season :ictscarf: I'd say possibly Mark Ridgers but Tbh, Cameron Mackay could be an able deputy. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on this :-).
  7. I'm up for that if RiG is :-), I get that I overreact sometimes, that's what I usually get told on pm anyway :-P. I am not here to cause trouble, anyone that knows me knows how laid back and caring I am, I work with kids for God sake so that proves how likeable I am. I get passionate about sports, especially ICT, Scotland and British Tennis, maybe so much that I do get confrontational and overly aggressive in my choice of words. I always took being a donkey as less aggressive hence my use of it, Tbh I would rather be called a donkey than a ICT b***** or Highland Hun etc both of which I have been called on Facebook by Celtic fans. But its not only RiG though, I've had criticism aimed at me constantly by Highland capital, Alternative Maryhill (here and Pie and Bovril). Let's call a truce here :-P, I will promise not to post on here directly after a match, win or lose but the mentioned people have to apologise to me in return for their constant criticism :). Let's all be adults here, I am an administrator on an Andy Murray fan group on FB and Tbh, I get how hard it is to run groups and keep everyone happy. I'll leave at that until next Saturday when I'll browse the match day thread for Ayr but after the match, I'll watch Glasgow v Ospreys instead of posting here :).
  8. OK then, you do better!!! I really don't like saying this but tough, it's, how I feel! This forum is becoming a joke and quite frankly, I'm beginning to wonder why I bother posting because it's so f***ing cliquey, and some posters like myself and a couple of others get nothing but criticism every post we put up, nobody else gets this, it's friendly debate but with me and the others it's "what are you talking about, you have no clue" or anything bullying. Now I know I've had warnings on pm via Scotty but it's gone to far now, I'd quite happily deactivate my account but I feel that would be unfair, as are the comments I get but, no the mods keep saying I'm overreacting which is bullshit, why should I come on here when I'm not allowed an opinion before people jump on my back!!
  9. I'm bored now lol, have been busy watching Heineken Cup final then had a few hours playing Fifa 21 so now waiting until New Zealand v Australia test starts in a few hours so I thought I'd start the thread for the Ayr game :-P. To be honest, not one player could complain if they got dropped and Tbh, I do hope there are wholesale changes! Ridgers Duffy, Deas, Devine (can't be any worse than dud McKay), McHattie McGregor, Welsh, Vincent, Allardice Mackay and Keatings.
  10. Hopefully soon because the donkey just doesn't learn! It was and is obvious how ***** duds like McKay are but the stupid donkey sticks by them when they need released. Surely a young CB is better than that dud!
  11. Now that we have concluded our transfer business (I would imagine), I thought I'd be the first to start this thread, despite not being very good at this :-P. For me: Ridgers (Mackay should be our cup number 1 but we need to take this seriously) Duffy, Deas, McHattie (if fit, if not then we persevere with Devine, God help us) and Harper Doran/Sutherland, Allardice, Carson, Welsh, McGregor Todorov Subs: Mackay, Fyffe, Nicholson, Storey and Keatings.
  12. What would you say is our strongest line up for the season ahead? Imho its tough to call as we may still do business before Monday night's deadline. I'd go something along the lines of: Ridgers McKay or new RB, Deas, Devine, Harper Doran, Allardice, Carson, MacGregor Keatings and Storey. I am not good at this sort of thing so feel free to criticise or help me out
  13. Surely we will now do some business on Monday no w that Tosh is injured:-(. Hopefully a RB and a Striker because today proves that we lack goals even though chances are being created.
  14. What has happened to the Wallace Duffy signing which was "close to being finalised at the start of the week (according to BBC gossip and Daily Record) I would imagine that one and possibly another striker on loan will be our deadline day signings.
  15. Isn't the Elgin friendly tonight, I can't see anything on Twitter or anywhere Also, Scott Kellacher mentioned in his after match interview from Nairn game that we play Clach tomorrow night where its likely that it'll be a younger team with possible game time for our injury returnees.
  16. Good to see that the youngsters got a run out today :). Sounds like Cameron Harper and Roddy McGregor were the stand outs going by the after match interview from the gaffer. He did hint at needing more firepower if he can so that suggests we could expect a couple more signings before the deadline Monday week, more than likely a striker and Defo RB.
  17. https://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/sport/rebuilding-is-constant-at-caley-thistle-211918/ Sounds promising regarding more signings
  18. Great news, hopefully one is a RB as that would be better business than signing an older RB Anyone got any info on them :P.
  19. With us returning back to training soon (anyone have any idea of when?) and 2 friendlies against Elgin coming up, I wonder if we will have any trialists coming in :). As I have said a few times, I think we badly need a RB then, imho we will be ready for the first game of the season without needing any more additions, unless players leave or go out on loan.
  20. Not wanting to sound confrontational but, why are we discussing Anthony Stokes, he's a Livi player, not ICT. Anyway, still hoping we can get either a RB or Striker in sometime soon
  21. I disagree with the last sentence Alan which I don't normally do when it comes to your posts lol. The most needed area needing strengthened is RB, then imho we are finished in the transfer market. We will likely only play one up front this season again so that will be one from: Todorov, Keatings, Storey, Sutherland or Mackay so we don't need 5 unhappy strikers (to be left on the bench or reserves altogether), unless Daniel goes on loan again. We have strength in depth in all positions apart from RB so, imho, and most posters on here (that's a first, people agreeing with me on here ) will believe that RB is "the area needing strengthened as a priority.
  22. Yes, you are right, I've just checked the club website and it is Martin, not Jamie ;). Please god NO, NO, NO AND NO AGAIN regarding Devine, he's not a RB or Striker, both of which needs to be our main targets just now.
  23. I've looked at the club site to have a look at our squad and depth in each position and come up with a list of all players in each position so that it's easy for us to work out where needs strengthened. GK: Mark Ridgers, Cameron Mackay and Jamie McKinnon Defence: Lewis Toshney, Robbie Deas, Kevin McHattie, Brad Mackay and Cammy Harper Midfield: Sean Welsh, David Carson, Aaron Doran, James Vincent, Roddy McGregor, Shane Harkness and Lewis Hyde, Scott Allardice Forwards/Strikers: Shane Sutherland, James Keatings, Miles Storey, Nikolay Todorov and Daniel Mackay Edited to add Scott Allardice. Also, it's interesting to hear that Roddy MacGregor is a Midfielder or Forward, this quote from Robbo in P and J, "up front we have lots of options. We lost Tom Walsh and Jordan White but we have Roddy MacGregor, James Keatings, Aaron Doran, Miles Storey, Daniel Mackay and Nikolay Todorov. We've added Shane Sutherland, who has scored bundles of goals at lower league level, and we are hopeful he'll do the same here". He then goes on to talk about versatility being key to which is where he mentions Roddy "we have players like Keatings and MacGregor who are between Midfield players and forwards". If that is the case, is he saying that we won't now be after another striker and RB is now his priority, again, this quote suggests that to be the case, "We have quality in Midfield and are hoping to have around 7-8 forwards we can chop and change. It should allow us to be flexible enough if we need to change formation. If we can get a bona fide right back in, we would also have Brad McKay and Lewis Toshney who can play RB or CB. That's the sort of thing we are after". Sorry for the number of quotes by the way lol, it would be a lot more helpful if someone could post a link to the article from the back of today's (13 August) P and J.
  24. Some Montrose fan geezer on P and B says we are after Scott Allardice, the ex Dundee U midfielder. We are eyeing midfielders so hhe could be a potential signing.
