If Butcher is truly as angry as his post-match interview this week suggested, surely it's time he forced our under-perfoming players to do an honest days work. They're supposed to be full time professionals afterall. If we were under any illusions as to how difficult a challenge it was going to be to win this league, we certainly shouldn't be anymore. I don't think it's time for Butcher to go, but it's certainly time for him to work alot harder than he has hitherto. He only works twice as hard as his players for ICT then!!!

I am also upset that neither Alex or I won the Euro Millions Jackpot, so I canna buy ICT, so back to work tomorrow By the way it is srill the master plan to come to the Drumossie in February, unfortunately , Mrs L is coming too, but promises to bring balloons. I had the good fortune to have a chat with TB last night at a charity event in Glasgow, he mentioned the away fans (and also when being interviewed on stage) and said how much noise they make, then started laughing about the "We are staying up" chant - said it was a cracker. He was extremelly enthusiastic about our away support and stuck up for our home supporters while I was being less than complimentary about them. Robbo left us to join his boyhood heroes Hearts. I doubt very much he'd do the same again as he seems to be more an ICT guy than a hearts guy unfortunately you cant sack anyone in football. you have to pay off the remainder of the contract to write it off or both parties mutually agree to terminate it I whole heartily agree that players should be paid by performance. If i had the money, id be doing the same with ICT. But you would probably only get local lads to play for that So what is so bad about that, get rid of the rich managers and get back to basics, the old team weren't so bad until MONey crept in!! And as for contracts , who writes them, if they wanted the work and I was the BOSS it would be on my terms.. off hobby horse now

May i be the first to take a shot Latviaman, are you reading the other threads? There are plenty of folk calling for Butcher's head just there has been since the County game. They think things won't get any better but others think they might. We're 7 games into a new (very open and unpedictable) league with a new squad. Give them a decent crack at it before you start calling for heads. you seem to be defending him quite a bit!! Would he be in your starting 11? I know that is not directed at me but I would play him against Partick. Its only a cup game and it is a perfect chance to see if he can bounce back. It is better than playing him in a league game which is im my opinion way more important than the challenge cup Its also the perfect chance to make changes to the team ahead of a massive game down at morton in 2 weeks.
