Ryan Esson New Deal
I don't often start applauding my computer screen but when I saw Yogi say that Ryan Esson was taking on a coaching role I burst into spontaneous applause. Well done Ryan and the club!

Radio Scotland coverage WORSE THAN USELESS
Listened to about 5 mins of OAM. Dreary unfunny non football chat. Don't think I'll bother with it again.

Radio Scotland coverage WORSE THAN USELESS
The OAM team needs a clean out. Time to get rid of the dead wood with their dull patronizing humour.

Radio coverage
CaleyD Great to hear that live commentary is on the list of things you want to see happen. I imagine the stadium has a basic business type internet connection, something like 1.5Mbits down and up, maybe more.. With a managed switch a QOS could be put in place for a media upstream on a private subnet. This would ensure that enough bandwidth would be available and traffic would be kept off that subnet. Today was a good example of being in the dark. No commentary on the game available and very limited open all mics coverage. Very few text updates. For fans who can't get to games it is tough. You look forward to the game all week then on matchday it all goes lame. My reasons are purely selfish - I just want to hear or see a live game online. I'll just keep gently suggesting things in the hope that you one day might say yeah we could try that. Keep up the good work!

Radio coverage
Pretty much my thoughts as well C_H2 If a private subnet was used within the stadium for a wired and wireless connection for live reporting this could work. Assuming there is enough upstream bandwidth and depending on codec and bit rate then it sounds completely plausible to be able to send one mono 15K bandwidth stream to a streaming server of choice. The BBC have also been looking at this and have gone as far as developing an in house app for live reporting over cellular or wifi networks. http://www.journalism.co.uk/news/bbc-developing-new-iphone-app-for-field-reporters/s2/a544714/ http://www.luci.eu

Radio coverage
Who does own the rights to broadcast live commentary outside of the UK? What a ridiculous rule that is. It's not like it's going to affect crowds.

Radio coverage
I agree SP BBC radio coverage of Scottish football is pretty poor. Even worse if you don't live in Scotland. I would like to see ICTFC stream their own live commentary of ICT games. The internet is for breaking down borders not reinforcing them. On the plus side overseas fans do get to see YouTube highlights of games before UK users via SPFL YouTube page. A VPN account helps a bit but if the live commentary is not there in the first place then it's limited to open all mics unless ours is a "featured" game. BBC radio Scotland = LAME

Announcement re Managerial Situation
Interesting to note that our dip in form (St.J and PT) or "blip" as MM put it came straight after our 3-0 home win over Hibs. Is this where the deal was struck? Did the players get a whiff?

MAURICE MALPAS WANTS THE JOB SUNDAY MAIL
I agree. The players seem up for it. A new manager would probably take time to settle and want to shape his own style. Mo and Fo might give us continuity. I was impressed with Mo's performance v DU in the cup and also again today.
