I’ve been thinking the same. I’ve joined the Trust + also made a small donation but I worry it’s all in vain? We’ve had no further information from the club so how can we do anything that has a positive impact on the club. I feel for all the players and staff who probably know nothing.

I bet the remaining signed players and youth players are finding out information via social media. It’s brutal!

The fact that a rich man like Duncan Ferguson who failed at the club and hasn’t walked away especially knowing the cash flow problems at the club tells us all the kind of person he is.

The club is on its knees and surely administration is likely. If The club survives surely it’s now time to start playing the local talent with a core of good experienced players around them and let us the fans get behind them. Surely Duncan Ferguson does the right thing and walks. Hopefully the club can get a feel good factor back and engage with the fan base. As soon as Gardiner leaves I’ll be buying a season ticket.

I wonder if the players under contract have had meetings with the club to inform them of this craziness. Going by how things are being run I actually wouldn’t be surprised if they haven’t. The latest podcast episode mentioned a youth player had found out via them. Talk about disrespect

I fear that the bad news/crazy plans will keep coming. The club has a massive opportunity to win the fan base back by blooding some of our homegrown players supported by some experienced players and get our identity back. I watched these young lads go toe to toe vs Hamilton on a plastic pitch and they were so unlucky to not get a better result. Robbie Thompson, Lewis Nicholson, Cammy Mackay, Adam Brooks, Lewis Hyde and Jack Walker to name a few are all good enough for our first team. However I fear our team will be full off central based players who we have no connection with.

I can’t get my head round this. I assume the youth academy is being abolished

It’s a statement that has more questions than answers sadly. I really hope this restructure is going to benefit the club and secure our future and not just benefit certain individuals. Youth is the way forward.

I know I shouldn’t be surprised but I genuinely cannot believe the club hasn’t issued some kind of statement! Even if it was just to acknowledge fans for our support this season and that the club has a board meeting today to discuss the future of the club.
