  1. If you are looking for a travel buddy who can put in for petrol. Let me know. Got my ticket. Can be emailed: [email protected]
  2. Thank you for this. Gives me 100% some deeper insight. Aye, did meet George for a few minutes a couple of week's back and yeah my impression was he was a kind and decent guy but no pushover.
  3. What a great response. Thank you. I am recent Caly Jag convert - but do come from a couple of dacades of community campaigning which has included being a volunteer advisor to a large local authority - on the governance side. I have an intuitive sense the Alan has the Club's legacy and continuity at heart. And yeh, why not make a bit on the side in return for your efforts. I can also see that Kellacher has total delegated autonomy to design and shape the squad - which shows that Alan seems to be very football centric in his business modelling. Rather than just using a football club as a leverage/kudos to dodgy/birdbrained initiatives. As an aside - I bumped into the owners of Sarens PSG on the plane last time I flew up to Inverness. I was squeezing passed them as I was boarding and they said "I like your scarf. Good to see a Caley Thistle supporter on here!" This sparked a wee chat. I thanked them for their support. So, jokingly requested that they plow more money in to enhance the match-day experience. Their response was "Yep, we have had these suggestions already and we are seeing what we can do and what more money we can spare." So, Alan seems to be briefing what he would like from sponsors. Even, if Sarens PSG aren't able to cough up more - it seems to point towards Alan's stakeholder engagement strategy being very much bringing sponsors into a sense of community. Rather than just a cheap and cold marketing opportunity. He seems to be about team building and unapologetic in this. I already have a sense of the recent existential crisis that faced Caley Jags - a return to stark raving bonkers - to an Accies style management using the 'brand' and its trappings as a personal play thing - or us all moving to Merkinch to follow football in Inverness. So, fair play - if Alan is the guy I sense him to be - then I look forward to seeing, feeling and smelling developments when my pocket allows me to fly/train it up to Inverness. Hope these observations made sense?!
  4. The Club will have to have ownership/leasehold of either (or both) of the car parks to make best use of space for Mrs Savage's burger vans on match-days then! Better set to it. lol For my sake hope one of the vans will sell nice home baked gluten free pies.
  5. I don't know if im being daft - but looks like the Supporters' Trust surrendered all our shares - which now Alan Savage wholly owns. We are supposed to have a 10% minimum stake in the Club. This would like effectively make George Moodie 'voting fodder' in the Boardroom. With no shares that makes us supporters have no legal instrument of veto on the Club Board. Alan Savage seems like a decent guy - especially because he rescued us... but there may be occasions where he and George may fall out or meet a stalemate on a decision for ICT. Therefore would be great if George had some clout behind him to vote in our favour or make demands on supporters' behalf. Any Scots law legal eagles here to put some clarity on this latest statement?
  6. Hey, that would be good! Keep in touch here yea?! ✊
  7. Good morning, This is a special message to Caley Jags living in London and South East England. As a bit of a surprise, I gave this new flag an outing on Saturday. Sadly, where the stewards got me to put it was somewhere they probably knew full well would be covered over by a block of fans that they moved in front of it. See photo with pink arrow. The flag was nestling there. That said - I would like to do a flag exchange. I cannot get to loads and loads of games. This is because I am long term sick (and have burned some of my PIP money to go lol). So, if anyone is going up at any time let me know and we can do a flag exchange and have the Caley Jag diaspora represented. I can meet more or less anywhere in the TfL zone. I have a pack of bungee ties - with plastic ends. 👀 And thinking ahead...if there ends up being two or three or more of us - be great, at that point, if we could ask the Supporters Trust to form an official branch. 8. Morning. I didn't get to reply to you coz I have caleythistleonline on my laptop at home. I ended up sitting in the front. Away allocations for seats are quite free and easy. As for 'allocated seating' - poor Queens couldnt have sold all their seats in section 7-9 anyhow - because half of them had rusted shut. It was the first time I gave an outing to a flag I've had made (see photo). Coz of the rusted seats this presumably forced a block of Caley Jags over to have sit in section 9 - that was to be kept clear and thus the flag was supposed to be on display! hahah Was a pretty good match though. I will be at the PSG Sarens next week for us v East Fife.
  9. Awww nice one - this will be my second one . I'll be in section 7 row n seat 121 !
  10. I'll be up at Palmerston Park next weekend.
  11. Whereabouts in London are you pal?
  12. Hi ALL, Thanks for introducing yourselves. So, yes I have a ticket for QoS away next month and will be getting one V East Fife the weekend after. Sorry for my late reply. For some reason I didn't think I had any replies.... . Yeah a bottomless coffee (I don't drink) in a pub would be good! Liverpool St is 20 mins bus/train from me.
  13. Good morning. Any Caley Jags in London or Southeast of England? Recent Caley Jag convert here. Watched 4-0 win over the Queens last week. Took advantage of the Black Friday hospitality package. Watching the footy was part of a city break I booked on a whim to Inverness. When I planned my Inverness trip - i did so without checking footy fixtures first. That was after - when I was looking at what I could do that would be interesting to see and do. I came to Caley Jags as 'merely' an experience to see two teams I have always seen as exotic by their names. Was happy to see that they both were playing each other and I could get tickets. Before I saw the Black Friday deal - was going to get a turnstile ticket anyhow. I honestly walked up to the Caley Stadium not knowing anything much - apart from the intriguing name of the Club. Great to see that the supporters trust chairman now has a seat at the Club Board table and is a Club potentially going places. I'm no glory hunter though. I am in Stepney, east London - any other Caley Jags in London or the Southeast of England? Perhaps form a little crew or group of us?!
  14. Greetings from London. Why not! It would add to the excitement in Inverness. Would make more of a destination of the place. But then, I don't live in the city to contend with potential extra traffic and crowds that this may bring on non-ICT Saturdays and weeknights. Whilst it is good to see rivals stay down - to be honest getting closer and closer to likelihood of local derby matches is something that football is made for in my opinion. Just keep the hotel prices down for me please!
