Is anyone else a little surprised that none of the Irish trio have been selected? I am of course referring to Rooney, Foran and Hayes. They have all been brilliant this season, and are all in the top 10 goal scorers in the league this season. I know it's not exactly the Premier League but they've still had a magnificent season, and some of the names in that squad are not as good as our boys IMO. Who the bloody hell is Paul Green for example? And Caleb Folan is certainly not a better striker than Rooney. Paul McShane?

Not really. If i remember right Foran was kicked out of Ireland U-21's for misdeameanours of the field. hayes and Rooney are both young lads and have done nothing till coming to us. they need to prove themselves at a higher level then they'll very likely be noticed.
