Did they need to publicise the fact MM knocked back the chance to manage the club to be an assistant at Hibs ? Don't think it will help in attracting a decent new boss knowing he was only second choice after Malpas !!

 

I appreciate the fact that the club are keeping the fans informed as far as possible and don't think it will make a blind bit of difference in attracting candidates to what will be a much sought after position.

Seeing as quite a lot of fans have been saying they'd like Mo to be offered the job and he was already a successful component of the current team I think it was professional and informative of the club to say that they had made an offer to Mo.

 

Now it's done - sod the pair of them!

^{I suspect that the offer of manager was on the table cos the answer was already known but also meant more compensation.}

It's a shame but I guess he just prefers being no2.  Lots of people do.  Can't say I have any ill will at him leaving.
